[Preorder] EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti FTW3 Ultra 8GB GDDR6X Graphics Card $1499 with Free Shipping @ PLE

630

Not sure if this is a Pre Order. I managed to buy one last week. Website shows orders in on Jan 21 25

Card has 6144 CUDA Cores and 1860 MHz Boost Clock. Memory is at 19000 MHz , so this has around 5% speed jump over the vanilla 3070, but consumes 290W of power (Vs 220W). The trick is to undervolt the card so the power draw drops under 250W and allow the boost to approach 2000 MHz

Toms Hardware GPU benchmark has this at 81.5%. For comparison RTX 3090 =100%, RTX 3070 = 76.3% and RTX 2080 Ti = 76.4%

3 Yr warranty

beautiful/heavy/3 slot. A GPU support is advisable

eVGA does not have a following in Australia compared to ASUS or Gigabyte, but it has a good reputation among the overclocking community. I previously had eVGA motherboards and GPUs and they are of quality build

    • Sadly I think it's more people knowing that the 8gig version is obsolete now that the 16ggig version has been announced.

This price is more clearing old stock I fear (hoping I'm wrong though! just lost faith in it all over the last year).

      • There is no guarantee they will even release them, however? and if and when they do what price do you think they will be :/

        • True, it's not 100% confirmed but I'd say likely with all the leaks https://videocardz.com/newz/asus-and-gigabyte-confirm-geforc…

As for price….who bloody knows these days, it's stupid how video cards have become, the new AMD cards are already listed for double the MSRP in the EU so yeah nothing will be 'normal' for a long time imo

    • And Ozbargain has just cleared out their stock

      • Yep but usually it would clear it out in less than an hour. This took like nearly 20 hours.

        • +1

It was available at this price for a few weeks and only sold out after being on ozbargain. Last time at the cheaper price I think it lasted nearly 2 hours. I wouldn't have been the only one annoyed to see it came back $50 more.

  • Interesting read about upcoming new card pricing,….
