This is a pretty hi spec ax router on bargain…6 vs 6E
Where's the 6e routers. Chip shortage?
Requires Australia to approve the entire 6ghz spectrum which interferes with airport radar. Even the US delayed the switch on date.

6E is meant to be a worthwhile upgrade over 6. However clients need to be 6E compatible.
Anyone know of something similar that is NBN FTTB compatible?
Does fttb not have an included modem box? If so this is perfectly fine for that use.

This is a historical low for Asus AX11000. Good deals for AX86U/88U/similar are more like $300-$400. I guess this is worth the extras if you care about its gaming features. Otherwise the wifi performance is not superior based on the reviews I've read, it does have triband though, useful if you need wireless backhaul. The other models are dual band.
Have they just jacked this? Now $775.89, ($605.19 after PJAN22).
