$5 off all time low, amazing ssd, practically as fast as it gets for consumer drives. YES it works for ps5 but you NEED a heatsink. 7000MB/S | 5300MB/S | 600 TBW
I ordered it for $228 like a week ago but just went to chat and they gave me the difference

  • Nice!
I'm holding out for the heatsink version for the PS5, so this is promising!

  • How much would a heatsink be for this (for PS5)?

    • +2

      $20

  • 2TB is under $430 from the UK and the US too.

Thanks mate I nearly bought one off eBay for $245. You saved me $25 😁

How much will these be by March?

  • Too bad, No price protection if we buy on the UK version of amazon

    • Read posy description, they gave me the difference I'm original payment method and also $10 promotional

      • No guarantees though. They wouldn't do anything about a $20 drop on an external hard disk at the start of Dec. Advised me to buy the cheaper one and just send the other one back which I did. I had to contact them again to get free postage to the UK. Only received the refund to my credit card yesterday!

ye they said this to me yesterday but after just persisting saying 'are you 100% sure theres nothing you can do for me?, theres a $15 shipping return cost and it would waste me 'xxx time'
then they just gave me promo credit

then when it dropped again I went back and they gave me the difference again

    p.s
I totally didnt abuse their system and go back to a new agent 6 times to get like $50 in promo credit for a $4 drop

  • Mine just arrived from the other deal (UK too) and the box was already open with the seals not intact. Also has weird stains on the box that look like some oily substance.

    • gives me great confidence in my order lmao

      • Lol second time this has happened to me with a product from Amazon UK via AU.

  • i’m building a mini itx at the moment and originally purchased the 1tb 980 pro (the samsung equivalent of the sn850). after doing more research it seems like the real world difference between the 980 pro and 870 evo plus is minimal (especially for gaming, there’s practically no difference), so i went with the 2tb 970 evo plus instead.

    • I went from a 970 Evo plus to this as my OS drive and I can noticeably feel a difference in the OS speed. Every loads quicker.

    • for gaming there is absoloutely no difference, unless you really need the speeds of gen4 , gen 3 is much more preferred. im just dumb and bought it cause $70 for the fastest compared to a p5, yknow

  • Any good external enclosures to use for these? Most say they overheat!!!!

  • so WD Black SN850 1TB or Samsung SSD 980 PRO 1TB for the same price?

  • The heatsink version is $256.96 on Amazon UK. Which one's the better deal?
