Get Mesh (eg TP-Link Deco M5), so so so much better.

    • Can you use a mesh with a competing router? I recently spent $400 on a Nighthawk (which I regret) but I really have no idea if I can mesh with an alternative product.

  • Does this ship with an EU to AU adaptor?

    • In my experience with other products it should ship with an AU adaptor. I wouldn't count on it though as it's sometimes missing.

  • Do wifi repeaters add latency given it's another device for packets to traverse?

edit: significant latency that's worth worrying about I mean.

    • Yes. Also will halve your bandwidth if not set up properly. To not halve your bandwidth you have to set it up to receive on one band and send on the other and then have no cross-over with the original router's bands.

I personally never recommend a repeater - so many ways to get a better signal and these are the worst of them.

      • Thanks, I suspected as much but didn't know about the channel stuff.

Do not buy wifi repeaters. If you do you deserve everything you get.

  • it is US$19.86 after coupon code for me

  • getting AU$28.11 after code & AU shipping

    • See above.
