This time, however it is $40.After i did a switch it said - We will complete your CTP switch on your behalf. You will receive your $40 Gift Card within 28 days.

The $40 gift card is only valid for QLD registered vehicles currently not with Suncorp CTP Insurance. The vehicle must be either a Class 1 (cars and station wagons) or Class 6 (trucks, utilities and vans, including panel vans with a GVM of 4.5t or less).     Maybe switch to QBE to get $25 and back to Suncorp for $40. Any RACQ promotions?

      I can't confirm or deny if RACQ will discount CTP now, but RACQ used to give 10% off CTP if taking out roadside cover. On my most recent renewal they advised that offer has been withdrawn and they cannot discount CTP now regardless of number of policies held. The agents explanation sounded like decision was made due to legislation and moving CTP elsewhere didn't budge her.

    So how does it work with switching?.. Does it require additional payment in the end of the period?.. Do you switch and then do another full year payment?.. Or do you just switch on paper and it is all done internally without the need to renew anything or do any extra payments? THanks

      I agree, it seems odd that the link isn't directly to Suncorp's website. A quick search found the same offer on Suncorp's URL:

      Clicking through the "Switch to Suncorp CTP" button on that page takes you to the deal's link, so it's all good.
