I cant wait for them to open one in Sydney. Preferably lots of stores in Sydney.

Hmmm, though limited to 200 free burgers….going to have to get there a bit earlier I think.

Had them when I was in Japan a few times (have also tried them at their Sunnybank store in Brisbane) and they are OK, nothing amazing though…flying up for them is a bit much :-P Save those pennies to fly to Japan.

    • Agreed I've had mos burger in Thailand and Singapore and it does taste better then here (Brisbane).

They should open a store in Sydney!

    • They will eventually, problem is that they are very under staffed at the moment (no general manager for the whole group :p) and quality control is still not up to standard yet.

They need to streamline some processes before they can move on.

      • I've heard good things about the many MOS stores they have in Hong Kong, but have also heard it's better in Japan.

  • omg YUM!

    Moon Ocean Sun???

    • Actually Mountain Ocean Sun

  • I think I had this in Singapore and loved it. Is there a shrimp burger by any chance?

  • +2

I don't know what's so great about these. Tried it at Sunnybank and thought it tasted like crap.

    • yeah not sure what they taste like here, but I had these in Japan and they are great!

    • My friend who lived in Japan for 10 years raved about them, so I tried the one at Sunnybank and it wasn't that great, certainly not better than Micky D's or Hungry's.

    Welcome to MOS Burger!! :D

  • Just came back from lunch at the Brisbane CBD store.

They only have an 'introductory menu' up and running. Had the Wagyu beef burger where the wasabi caught me off guard (don't like wasabe and it didn't click that these burgers may have had it in them). Still, it was enjoyable and the ingredients taste fresh. Love how you get sauce with your chips as standard and it's not just ketchup. There's BBQ and Thai sweet chilli sauce too.

The line at the front when I was leaving was kinda long though so I don't think I'll be back on Friday.

    • Wth, it's already open?? I thought they were opening this Friday!!

      • +1

        Nope, they're open already.

  • Anywhere I can find the menu? Want to see if there is a vegetarian option.

    • Yeah, there are vegetarian options. There was a few… I remember the mushroom burger as one of the options.

  • Mos burger is the best fast food! If your ever in Japan definitely give it a go, hopefully their aus menu is the same. Try the chilli original mos burger. Like a really fresh cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and chilli sauce.

  • Sweet, i can handle having a later lunch on Friday when its free! I'm there :)

  • I had a teriyaki beef burger today - so good. Pretty good value anyway, with a meal costing $8.50 (burger, chips, drink). Some really weird looking burgers, but they have a standard cheeseburger and stuff for those not keen on the Asian flavoured ones.

  • This gets my vote because it is Mos Burger, and Mos Burger is awesome. Please open a store in Sydney soon.

  • Tried (and loved) Mos Burger at Singapore, please open in Melbourne!

  • they had this same deal at the Southport store on the Gold Coast and there were more than 200 people when I walked past an hour before the time

  • I heard some of the ingredients aren't allowed to be imported (like seafood) or something, so some burgers will taste different.
And yes they are VERY under staffed, but Sydney is definitely on cards.

  • Australian Mos Burger really has nothing on the stores in Japan. Tried it in Singapore too, still wasn't nearly the same. :(
