Bought one via SB with a combination of TGG eGC and Ultimate VISA card. Order status shows Backordered. I am testing SB's tracking anyway.

Update: Ready to pick it up now. SB tracked for 9 cents, possibly excluding the amount paid by eGC.

    • Order paid full by Ultimate VISA card also got 9 cents cashback.

    Great price but no stock.

    • agreed

    • Depends on location.
4 out of 5 local stores show stock.

Bought a few $4 TP-link BC amber bulbs from TGG Deal - returned as way too amber. So won't bother.

      • +1

Adjust the colour tone so it’s not so amber, easily done through the app

  • No stock in Sydney :(

    • There are/were, very limited stock though. I bought another one via SB using Ultimate VISA card. A good opportunity to test SB tracking without hurting much.

  • None in Perth, also no delivery

  • Nearest is the gold Coast for pickup. No delivery.

Typical of TGG. They often have great prices on non existent stock. It's a dishonest version of a loss leader.

Picked up 2, store honoured B1G1.
    Thanks OP :)

  • Question: With these smart bulbs, they do die, don't they? So you'd have to replace them like a normal bulb every x months/years?

    • Eventually, but it’s meant to be much less often that “ye olde globes”.

  • Just picked up 3, thanks OP!!

    Thanks OP

Picked up 6 (Darwin). Store honoured B1G1. Do i really need these?

  • Someone picked up my order at mile end store in adelaide. The staffs said the customer provided same name, and price.

I am disappointed after ringing store after store to put 2 on hold.

Anyway whoever picked up 2 at mile end, enjoy.

      Staff:

"Is your name (reads label) Homer Simpson?"
      "…yes"

There is 0 chance that happened. They screwed up.

  • few available at Warrnambool

  • Take Vline to Warrnambool 🤣. If you have mate tell him post.

  • Thanks OP, got 4.
I'd suggest everyone calls up their local store. By the employees own admission, the website is absolutely shit.
Had to convince one store to honour the B1G1F (mainly by saying the website doesn't let me get through checkout), second store I went to just did it. Had to go to two as first had no stock on the E27.

  • Those Filament clear globes? I bought 2 at Bunnings, I had to return them, those filaments hurt your eyes, I could not even face the globe when turned on.

  • $4 is an absolutely crazy good price for these. But if anyone wants some you can pick them up at JB-Hi for $29.95 with 2-for-1, so about just under $15 each. Not $4 but a lot better than the $30 most places are charging.
