Does this supercharge samsung phones? What about 45W pd charging for the note10+

    • -1

Yes it does as it has PPS. You'll obviously need an e-mark USB-C to USB-C cable. Original Samsung cable or a 100W capable USB-PD cable like in AliExpress listing will do it.

      • +2

I just read the description and it clearly says it doesn't support 45W pps. So it'll probably "super charge" but not "super charge 2.0"

        • +2

Welp I missed that part. Ok it doesn't do 45W PPS as per the listing.

        • Does it support 25W PPS ie. for S21 Ultra?

    • +2

This is a good charger, I had random one before it would do 5% in like 1hr or more, while my phone was turned off!
With this it does 5% or more in 10 mins, with phone on. I have Samsung Note 20 Ultra. I brought it for like $25 or so. This is a good deal.
(Currently charges almost same as a wall mount charger) Not above 25W as my Note 20 is only 25W

Is this safe to draw out of a 12V socket?

    12V x 5A~

    • +3

The sockets are usually rated for 10A.

    • +1

Yeah, i've got the same concerns if it's safe to use with the standard 12V socket

      • +1

Car sockets are rated for 10A which would be fine, while some are 15A or higher. Best to check what your model of car is using.

Bought, thanks OP. $16.98 with Ubank paying in USD.

I have this charger for the last year or so. Hasn't skipped a beat.

    • Yes same

  • Has anyone try charging a macbook pro 16 intel version with this? I dont think I can go for the 100w version as my car quite old.

  • With regards to VOOC 22.5W charging on Oppo/Realme, I thought the charger needs to explicitly support the VOOC protocol?

    • Anecdotally, I bought a Baseus charger that charged my OnePlus 5 at almost the VOOC charger rate years ago - I got the special Dash Charge icon on my phone when I plugged it in.

You’ll most likely get very fast charging, if you use the OG VOOC/Dash Charge cable.

… I realise that doesn’t totally help you, but just letting you know that it’s possible!

      • Thanks Droz. That does help since you reminded me that I've been meaning to test my exisiting QC 3.0 car charger with my VOOC cable.

  • Does anyone know I'm using a double adapter for the lighter socket whether the 65w will still be pushed through ?

There is also Baseus 120W 3.0 for $20

    Link: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/363586478196

Don't think it's good for your car unless you got those amps.

$19.75 or $18.85 with ebay Plus on ebay, but this has only max 30W Type-C output.

  • +1

    It only cost me $6.28

    • same here only cost $6.24

      • Same

        • +1

          How?

        • +1

must be new account, bought mine last night with the 1m usb c cable for 7.99 usd with new account + GIFT125 code

  • Does it output 20V from a 12V supply (i.e. can it deliver 65W to a laptop from a 12V supply)? The description makes a reference to the fact that it requires a 24V input to make 20V outputs. I don't seem to be able to find any confirmation of this. Wonder if anyone else knows the answer to this?

    • +1

It doesn't have a boost charger chip unfortunately.

However the newer 100W version does apparently. So you will be able to get 20V out of it.

      • I'm charging a Surface Pro 7 right now with the same charger.
        13.1v input, 20.3v output at 2.91A

        • 100W or 65W?

maybe they did a design revision on the 65W?

  • Says coupon has run out upon checkout.

  • Promo code has ended

  • +1

Well, I used to like Baseus products. But I got a 30w version which stop to work just two years after.
Also got a USB C Hub 5in1 which stopped to work properly just 2 weeks after.
So I won't neg, but truly advice to buy this on ebay. Better protection against defects.

  • I missed this one…

    • +1

See link above by neo, it's like $1 more on eBay

      • +3

        $17.76 with ebay plus.

        • Thanks. Got one

        • plus $5 postage

          • @[Deactivated]: Free shipping for ebay Plus, I am not sure for others.

            • @jimojr: that's odd - I have ebay plus but it still shows postage as $5.00 eBay Standard

Baseus is garbage. (judgement based on sample of 1 product which was faulty on arrival)

    • I won't say garbage. But not perfect.

What matters is that they refund quickly, at least on ebay.

  • +1

I have one of these. It's great. I charge my Microsoft Surface with it on the USB-C.

  • coupon still valid 12:51pm AEDT - just bought one AUS$17.59 - thx op.

  • Lasted me a year then died and I got belkin

  • Still valid. Got one, cheers OP!

  • If I want to charge a laptop (65W) and S21 Ultra (25W) same time, I think I will 100W one. This can charge one of them at fast speed at the same time.

  • +1

I reckon this is better, looks cleaner and is 100watts, appears to also come with a cable. Its also more likely to work on all cars as most can only draw 120 Watts max from the 12V socket. It will put out 68watts max when all ports are used.

    • +4

Yeah that charger looks to be quite good. Max 18W on the USB-A port, so QC 3.0 basically. While the USB-C port is PD 3.0 and goes up to 105W.

I'll see what kind of deal I can come up with for that

  • Aham … This one broke the previous records ! Seems people need less power :D

  • I have two of these - charges really fast - hasn't missed a beat - good product
