Don't know if this is a good deal but at least its free shipping and stiff can't afford one anyway.

    • +1

Upvoted for the gigabyte one, the Tie version deal from evatech is better value with free PSU, and techfast was $11 cheaper :)

    • yes I paid $2550 for mine 3 months back, it's a deal.

  • To be a deal I feel it should at least be a few dollars cheaper than others. lol.

    • +1

at least be a few hundred dollars cheaper

      FTFY

  • +4

Looking at the bottom of the range presented here, the $949 3060 is barely ahead of the 6600 in the benchmarks, which is currently around $669 elsewhere. It's hard to believe that DLSS & streaming features are worth 30% more cost. Forget about the fact the market is dropping and Techfast regularly did $818 specials for the 3060 during the peak. Disappointment.

    • +4

I guess the price is more related to mining capability.

      • +2

        Yep
        Around 30% faster at mining
        6600 does 32-35 MH/s
3060 at best can do 45-50 I think

        • -1

3060 is best bang for the buck for mining, compared to 3060 Ti and 3070, hence still selling well.

        • Lhr cards only 35-37mh at a lot more watts so nobody is buying 3060 lhr to mine….

      • It's almost as if the current gpu prices are being set by mining profitability…

  • +3

I got my 3060 for $750 delivered from Techfast. So no deal here.

    • +1

Single fan? This is double fan. But still not a deal. 3080ti might be.

      • +1

I got two fan gainward one $750 delivered. You can search the previous deals.

      • It's double fan, as per shaoyangdi

        • OK I remember seeing all those mini card deals

    • +5

Noted, 3060 removed as a "deal"

      • +5

That is gracious of you. That deal is in the past, no $750 cards in the last month I know of, but sometimes best not to provioke the OzB crowd.

  • 4080 will be 50% faster

    • Yes might as well wait

      • +3

        and 50% more expensive?

        • You think it'll sell for $3,450?

    • what incentive is there to make it that much better?

They flooding the market with marginally better products. Releasing a 4080 50% would kill their existing line.

Probably 20-30% better at an even higher msrp

      • If they don't, AMD will.

        • still too early. i think AMD will need 2-3 years more. In Lisa we trust.

      • @acetth what? 3080 was advertised like 100% faster to 2080 (not ti) and early buyers did get it at rrp before miners came in

        • u underestimate the greed.

just look at the 3080 12gb. They could have kept it at msrp + $200 perhaps but noooooo

          • @MaxHashrate: Early buyers did get it for $1300ish from ple and others, then miners bought all, it became $2500

    • with a 50% higher price no doubt?

    • Source?

    • yeah, we've heard that one before (like most early rumours of the next series)

I’m sorry, but that is a BS comment coming from a store “ few GPU's starting to slowly edge towards MSRP :)” - MSRP is set by the manufacturer, you are choosing to price it above that (the manufacturer would not be charging more than their MSRP, as, well, that’s what that is for)…

    • +2

I can assure you our cost price is well over MSRP and has been for a long time :)

    • +1

It's the suppliers/wholesalers doing the markup buddy

      • +2

Everyone in the chain adds their own juicy markups for hard to get items like GPUs. That's the sucky part

    • Thats not how supply chain works.
I sell hardware below and above MSRP, no one makes me sell it for a price and the price I pay the distributor changes over time, the MSRP does not.

  • +1

I think the 3080 for $1900 is closer to a "deal" given the performance difference, but because the 3080Ti was designed to have an MSRP closer to market price, I guess on paper that looks better?

  • +1

Maybe I'm not seeing the deal here but why is the RTX 3060ti tagged?

  • No offence against OP. You're trying to make an honest living and return some value to customers. But there are still scalpers in the supply chain. For long suffering gaming consumers, while ever demand continues to exceed supply, prices will remain too high as there is no market incentive for suppliers to drop prices. The only reason for the $100 discounts at the moment is because of clearing old stock for newer models. Demand needs to drop off severely. For that to happen crypto needs to go bust big time for miners to give up and flog their used/abused GPUs on the second hand market, and also interest rates need to rise a few times (unfortunately) here and overseas for people to think twice before spending all their remaining discretionary income on overpriced tech. Then demand will drop off which will put downward pressure on prices, and we'll get closer to the "old normal".

  • BREAKING NEWS

Ethereum hash rate scores new ATH as PoS migration underway
The hash rate surpassed 1.11 PH/s for the first time ever, breaking the previous high of 1.08 PH/s set on Jan. 13.
    https://cointelegraph.com/news/ethereum-hash-rate-scores-new…

High hash rate = more miners.

  • Wow a whole 2.7% hash rate…

    • It takes 352,941x 3080 Ti GPU to increase the hash rate by +2.7%.

This is over $1M in revenue per day.

  • OP are you seeing any reduction in 3080ti cost price for any other models besides the Ventus?

  • Anyone had their 3080 ti ventus shipped yet? Ordered the day this deal was posted.

    • +1

No one, orders are going out today :)

      • Can't wait :) thx

      • I literally just put my order in. Will that go out today too?

      • +2

        What about RTX 3080 orders?

        • +1

          Good question mate!

          • +2

@AusGamer: All remaining RTX orders will be shipping out within the next 20 minutes :D

        • Has your card shipped yet mate?

          • @AusGamer: No! Has anyone else received a shipping confirmation or their order?

  • Still not posted lol, "express" huh

    • this guy is a dirty liar. he uses sendle which doesn't offer any express service. '

if i were you i would just get a refund.

  • +1

The guy sent me the wrong card. Payed for a 3080 ti. Sent me a 3070 ti. Tried calling no answer. Time for a cashback

    • -1

Hey SardineHead, I called you back within 7 minutes as I was on the phone when you called, we organised a return and full refund of the card.

As I mentioned on the phone if you have any issues please feel free to call me on 1800 011 341.

An update: ended up buying a msi suprim rtx 3080 ti from my local umart. its $274 off atm - https://www.umart.com.au/product/msi-geforce-rtx-3080-ti-sup…

As for this clown, I've already sent a message to my bank and am in the process of organising a "charge back" for "The goods and services purchased were not as described or defective" .

Luckily I payed using my commonwealth debit card. Should have trusted those reddit threads calling this clown shady AF.

Not even an apology. Nothing. Just the standard "you'll get your money when we get the item back".

    • Hey Sardine, I apologized multiple times and I said straight up I wasn't going to give you excuses we just messed up and it was our mistake, im not big on using excuses and trying to justify our mistakes, the fact is that we stuffed up and I openly admit that, and again, I do apologize for the issues as I can understand how frustrating it must be waiting a week for something online to receive the wrong item.

If you do want the reason why, I recently hired 2 new staff who have been managing orders and this is nobody's fault except for my own, Isaac, as the owner, for not giving people thorough enough training. I take full responsibility for the stuff up.

As I said on the phone I am sorry for the mix-up and I would like to fix this for you, I have sent you Australia post express shipping labels which you mentioned you had access to a printer and lived closed to an Aus Post office and were happy to take it down and post the 3070ti back. You are within every right to go through with a bank charge but this will drag the process out over months as the banks take a long time to deal with this. I would like to make it clear we are happy to provide you with a full refund for the card but we cannot refund it before the card has been returned.

To save you the process of a charge back or waiting 4-5 days for the card to be posted back, I am willing to personally drive to your house 3 hours away, collect the card and refund you in full on the spot tomorrow.

You have been given my personal mobile to contact should you need a hand with anything, and if you would like me to come and exchange the card tomorrow please feel free to call or text my mobile or reply here and I will do so.

      Regards
      Isaac

Everything has been all cleared up. Isaac took care of it. My order has been refunded and am just waiting for the money to be transferred in my account in the next few business days. Hopefully everyone gets their correct orders soon. He really went above and beyond to fix this issue and I really appreciate it.

  • Sendle tracking still shows it hasn't even been posted yet. Ill follow steps to get refunded also. .

    • Hey Jekt, if you are after a refund send me an email to [email protected] and I can process that for you.

      Otherwise call me on 1800 011 341 :)

  • Update on my order. I received my card yesterday. Unfortunately, the card was faulty due to a manufacturing defect (not a fault of the seller). Titan Tech was super helpful with assisting with the problem and shipped out a replacement card immediately. Thumbs up from me. 👍
