    it goes without saying that the 1986 Movie was peak transformers, the blue ray version is great.

      Plenty of reviews of it on youtube but from personal experience, Hasbro has been smashing it with the latest War For Cybertron, Earthrise and Kingdom releases. Many have said that they're almost like mini-masterpieces in how they articulate and transform as well as their accuracy to colour and sculpting and to the cartoons.
      IMHO, the best of these examples is the latest Cyclonus. If you look at pictures of his toy, there is absolute no back kibble and his nose cone uses black magic to literally disappear in robot mode. When he transforms into jet mode he looks smooooooth.
      It's actually a really good time to be a middle-aged male with disposable income to start dabbling into nostalgia to try and recapture a lost childhood.

    usually when Big w releases a new line, they have an introductory price. this was $109 at that time.
    for it to be $89 incl post is an awesome price

        Just remembered the time i bought a friend a die cast metal subaru wrx transformer still in box in mint condition. Told him it was a collectors item.

        The next day his 4 year old was playing with it. All banged up and paint chipped.

      Well just tell her they're an investment. A lot of my pieces that I bought in 2015 have increased in value, some more than double!
