I got one this week for $69.99
    Damn! Still worth it though.

  • +2

Would anyone who got one recently be able to comment on their impressions of the unit?

    • +3

i have mine for several months now. very happy with it, charges 2 ipads (pro and air) plus my iphone XS Max at the same time.

  • Glad I missed out on the last deal. Thanks OP.

  • +1

Can this QUICK charge two (or more) devices at once?

    • +6

There's information about the power allocation here:

      https://heymix.com.au/collections/charging-station/products/…

      • +8
        • Thanks guys but I don't know enough about the technicalities of quick charging to make any sense of that table. Can it support multiple quick charging simultaneously?

How many Watts does quick charging consume/require?

          • +1

@bboz: Go down each column and imagine them as separate diagrams. It shows a combination of what if scenarios.

            • +1

@Billybob94: I found a source that states 18w should be enough for quick charging. It's this accurate?

In that case, it certainly looks as though the charger could handle multiple devices.

Too bad the 40% discount is gone.

  • its showing $99 for some reason after applying the voucher?

    • +3

go to the checkout page. the price will reflect there. you should see -$40.00 for the promotion.

      • +3

silly me, I should cop 2-days of ozbargain-ban!

    • bought one, perfect!

  • Question for the audience:
Just got a refurb lenovo x1 yoga gen 2 with OLED screen. Comes with 65W charger but it also has usb-c/ thunderbolt 3 (laptop is from 2017).
If I have a 100w rated cable and this device, will it charge faster than the included power adaptor?

    • How’s the fan noise on the laptop?

      • Haven't got it yet, on the way

    • +1

Unfortunately no. Your maximum charging speed is determined by how much the laptop port is rated for, not cable nor the charger.

Your 30w phone wont charge at 100w if you had a 100w charger, why on earth would you thought this would be any different mate

      • -1

For someone so quick to judge, you can't spoke proper…

        • -2

          ? Am i wrong

        • Yep just neg me without reasoning….. could you care to explain how im so wrong with what I said?

          • @Brrrrt: I didn't neg you. But it could be about 'why on earth….'? Being helpful is good, but you ruined it with what you followed up with. Also, technically, I am not sure if you are correct or not. Although, what you say makes sense. I am just responding to your question.

        • +1

To be clear, Brrrrt is correct in that the device manages the maximum charging power. It is unlikely that a device can charge at a higher rate than the factory charger, and in the case of the Yoga, 65W is the max. If this 65W is not met, instead of just charging more slowly, many thunderbolt/USB-C charging laptops will not charge at all.

  • according to the specs, yes when you are using the 100w or 87w mix. https://m.media-amazon.com/images/S/aplus-media-library-serv…

I hope this is better quality than their 2 port PD/QC chargers, those are complete junk.

    • I’ve bought sets of those twice now (each a pack of 2). First set was great and no problems with it. One (or maybe both haven’t checked yet) has very annoying coil whine. Hasn’t fully turned me off them yet though

  • "Sorry, you are not eligible for this coupon"

Got this for $79.99 for months and it is worth every penny!
I attached to my Height Adjustable desk, and it can charge my M1 Macbook, Switch, phone, etc at the same time

  • Sorry guys I may have missed the 40% off part..

  • about to use this for my new 16" Notchbook Pro, Switch, AirPods Max & Apple Watch (from time to time) hope this works well.

  • Voucher's gone.

  • Voucher Gone for me too.

  • Damn, I don't see any vouchers either now

  • Voucher also gone for me

  • +1

    omg… the coupon is gone… anyway I just purchased a 100w charger from ebay… I feel bad.

  • Does this come with a usb-c cable? or just the charger? Thanks

  • That's an amazing price, this is very good. I love how devices are starting to come onto the USBC standard, even for Apple (except for their iphones).

  • Voucher gone now. $99 already.

  • What's the power allocation when all 5 ports are connected?

    • +1

      C1+C2+A1+A2+A3=60W+18W+18W+5V/1.7A-2.4A+5V/1.7A-2.4A

      • Cheers. Sauce?

        • +2

Tomato or BBQ? I have the huwder one that looks the same as this. Works well.

  • +8

FYI. The black version is still 30% off. Not quite as good a deal but not bad for $69

    • +2

Thanks - bit the bullet and ordered this one.

    • Thanks for this, also just bit the bullet and picked one up for my new macbook.

Lots of quirky issues with these…

got a replacement… had exactly the same isseus with the replacements..

Certain combinations of charging they should work according to the manual don't work and vice versa..

When you plug another device it to charge, you need to check that all the other devices are still charging… quite often, one of the other ports, will simply not work.. and there's rhyme or reason…

Other combinations that shouldn't work do…

Pretty much ahve to pretty muscial chairs with the ports all the time..

    • +2

I have a similar issue too. Amongst the devices connected is a usb table lamp. It switches off whenever another device on the USB A ports is connected. It doesn't when devices on USB C port is connected.

    • The top power delivery (PD) port on mine is not working . Second PD port works fine.
How do you request a replacement? I can only see the option to return charger.

  • +1

The labels on the charger say "for phone/pad" and "for pad" - why does it matter whether its for phone or tablet? They're both labelled QC3.0?

  • I have this one that looks the same. Works well. https://huwder.com/products/100w-multi-usb-device-charger-st…

  • Using this for almost 6 months and really very happy with it, I can charge my Microsoft Surface Book 2 and Galaxy S21 Ultra(Super fast charge) together. Build quality is good and not a single issue with it.

  • Amazing deal, OP. Damn! I missed it.

  • I bought this HEYMIX model last year: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/656032

Does the charger in this deal also use GaN tech?

    • This deal doesn't. The one you bought does

      • Thanks for the confirmation. That's what I assumed to be the case.

Regardless, I hope the charging performance will be comparable for the device in this deal with respect to the GaN model.

  • Was able to pick one up with a further 30% off just now so $69, not to bad IMHO.

  • +2

I got two of these models direct from the OEM (HUWDER): https://huwder.com/products/100w-multi-usb-device-charger-st…

Pricing is $USD but works out to be around the same as this deal.

    • it claims to be 110W (100W in the URL) vs 120W in this deal.
is it the same model just different marketing?

      • I believe it's just different ways of measuring, but most of the time, for me, an extra bit of time isn't a deal breaker.

  • Need a math degree to work out fastest charging arrangements lol

  • $70 now black & white, pulled the trigger anyways

  • +1

if you order one black and one white you can get them for $58 each (116 total)

    • Thanks…grabbed a couple.

  • I ordered two of these last time around and they only sent me one. I've been trying to contact them about these but they haven't returned any of my emails.

    • Amazon? or the OEM?

      • +1

It's sold by HEYMIX TECH either way but to answer your question, I bought directly from the https://heymix.com.au/ site. If I bought from Amazon, I'd probably have more recourse to follow.

        • +1

Good luck. I bought mine from huwder direct in USD.

  • Purchased 2 units last week for $69 each. 1 for work and 1 for personal. Big upgrade from my blitzwolf 75pd.

    🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

  • Got mine yesterday pretty happy with it so far!
