King of Shaves Shave Gel Refillable ($7.50) & Refills ($5.00) Half Price @ Coles

230

It's been 8 months since the last KoS deal got posted, so stock up.

I can't seem to get this to show for any Vic post code I tried, so any it might not be available there, would have to check in store.

The regular tubes are also on special at $7.20, but that is just not worth it.
I didn't take note of the end day for this special when I was in store, I gather it is a usual weekly style one.

I prefer the Nivea shaving gel to this… Often it's at half price.

    • No one cares

        Wrong

  • What's so good about it to cost that much?

Do they still do the oil? The oil is so good

    • +1

Yes they do. Just shaved with it.

According to coles: ‘ Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.’ well not for me

  • Good on them for doing refills. We need more of that. I think the best supermarket shaving gel/foam is the Bulldog gel. If you ever want to splash out then the Anthony shave cream is the best you can get.

spend the money and get Taylor of Old Bond Street, will last years

I actually went with some prorrasso or however you spell it. Made me realise that the supermarket stuff is garbage. Even at this price.

It's amazing how everyone thinks to have found El Dorado with their choice. What happened to the dear, old "in my opinion"?

  • This is by far my favorite shaving gel. Especially when used with a spray or two of their oil. I have a thick beard and sensitive skin and this makes shaving much easier, faster and more gentle.

You also don't use very much so it lasts me two or three times longer than the Gillette or Nivea. At this price it is actually quite cheap to use.

Ok, Had a beard for 35yrs, Had to shave to work in the hospital with a P95 mask. Now have to shave and risk slitting my throat everyday. Thank you China! Bit out of touch with shaving cream stuff. So what is the best stuff for a wet shave, so I don't look like Jack the Slasher or Norman Gunston?
