Last few times I purchased, it is a normal price, $39.95 for a $50 gc. However last week I was looking for it (Ipswich store, QLD) but had to ask staff specifically for it, then they brought it out from the back.

They just opened a new one in my area with all brand new machines.
Always take the kids to the ones on the Gold Coast (The one @ Surfers Paradise is huge). Here in VIC, there's Sunshine, Highpoint, Werribee Plaza, just to name a few. All are pretty good. Kids go do their own thing while I load up on thousands of tickets using the Willy Wonka machine.

Has anyone had any luck with staff accepting two X $25 discover vouchers? My friend got away with it once with a newbie but I've never had any luck, so I keep trying every few weeks.
Last time they only allows me to use one $25 voucher per day under the same name.
I mean if my wife and I use one each, they won't allow us to load $50 onto one card to earn the double value. My friend was successful in doing it.

Don't forget you can use Parents vouchers of you live in NSW and has school kids during 2021. Effectively $100 credit for 'free'
I think when you load from voucher they don't give you double on that…
They do. Vouchers are treated like cash in this case.
I tired 2 x $25 with friend discovery voucher, only $50 no double at all, the one in Market city.
@dlovep: Worked fine for me at Chatswood last time when they had double dollars promotion since the vouchers are treated as cash.

That paragraph doesn't mention it will provide the doubling, but it's under the overall Double Dollars section so it seems like it should work?
In which case we may be able to load the $50 by paying with the discounted gift card from Costco, and receive the additional $50.

Yep, the kingpin gift cards. No, they are physical cards. I haven't tried loading them in the app, I always just process them at the counter.

Discover vouchers only work in store and minimum top up is 50 dollars to be eligible for double dollars, so you would have to use the voucher + an extra 25 dollars.

Purchase the gift card from costo, top up on the day that the double dollars is happening, and you will get 100 dollars credit with the gift card you have purchased for 39.95
