    Looks like they're working their way through it.

    Maybe they chose a bad supplier but either way, the way they handled the communications around this was appalling.

    Deleting Facebook posts is something that a junior or a person in management who lacks social media experience would approve.

    • Yeah lol, didn't realise they pulled the whole post… They were at least responding & my denied claims all came through today.

      But the damage is done, poorly orchestrated promo and poorly handled entries / support thereafter … Fail.

      I honestly think they got the work experience kid from the legal dept to put those T&Cs together, they were terrible.

  • Got mine today and emailed them last night enquiring about them as I'd entered on 10th and hadn't heard anything. $75!

    Awarded all of mine at 7.05am this morning. They did not specifically reply to any of the emails I had sent to them.

    Disgraceful way this has been handled. I'll be avoiding this brand in the future.

    Those who still haven't got their GC's and is complaining to ACCC/fair trading etc, I got a video of their facebook post (the one removed) along with the comments. pm me if required

  • Had my 5 entries approved this morning. I had written, formally, to Lindt Facebook page, and the CEO. I was very surprised to get a response from the CEO. Lindt were very polite and professional in their responses. I believe the third party are the ones dropping the ball, and must be giving Lindt a headache over the debacle they created.

    For context. my entries were submitted on the 9th.

    • Interesting, what did the CEO say?

      • She was completely across the issue, and knew exactly the competition I was referring to. She forwarded my email directly to the person in charge of running the promotion, and assured me it would be resolved ASAP (I asked them to respond by today, otherwise I would lodge a complaint with the regulator). She was also kind enough to say I could get back in touch with her if I felt the problem had not been resolved. And lastly I also received a follow up email to say they personally confirmed my e-cards had been issued correctly.

        Edit: Just found out the email was actually from their PA. Makes sense, as there's no way a CEO would have time to read every message in their inbox.

    Just submitted another one in my partners name now that all mine have been paid.
    Pretty sure they’ve changed the way it’s redeemed now. Says it goes to your mobile instead of email. Assume they’re trying to stop people redeeming more than 5 with different email addresses..

    Got all my 5 x$5 vouchers and added them onto Woolworths money app. I had problems loading one of the vouchers initially but worked several hours later.

  • We got 2 lots of 5 x $5 (2 people).

    Initially 3 out of each 5 claims were denied.

    Submitted images to their email address of all receipts together, pointing out the different transaction numbers at bottom of receipt.

    Just got the remaining 6 approved, so all 10 went through eventually. So some credit to Lindt for rectifying their error.

  • Just got denied 4/5 that i put through, with no email about the 5th for "Receipts do not contain receipt numbers or dates."
    Wonder if these are being looked at with a computer software, as i can't fathom a human looking at a direct scan of a receipt and then denying it for that.

  • Just got one claim denied on the basis that 'Receipts do not contain receipt numbers or dates.' This is despite the fact that I sent a PDF of the eReceipt in, which clearly displays both a receipt number and a date on it. Complaint has been lodged. Grrrr…

    I also got 2 emails saying my claim got denied because "Receipts do not contain receipt numbers or dates". I provided PDFs of eReceipts generated from the Woolworths app itself. My earlier receipts from several days ago were processed fine. But the latest 2 receipts got invalidated in error. So looks like there has been a change in their validation program and the change didn't get tested properly… Software is now invalidating claims incorrectly.

    Got rejected with stupid reasoning "Reason: Has not provided original Woolworths receipts" - guess they don't like photos of the original receipt and want me to send it by snail mail :-)

    • Same here declined for same reason, although it was approved like a week ago and they sent another email saying they will issue the voucher in 3 days but declined today.

  • I would encourage people to make a complaint to Fair Trading. It seems as though they advertised a misleading competition.

    Mine were all rejected this afternoon. Reason: “Receipts do not have receipt numbers or dates”. What a waste of the $25 spent on the chocolates.

    • Same for me. I rechecked receipt, these are at the top of the invoice. Ridiculous.

      • Yes, the dates and numbers are very clear. I didn’t like the chocolates either. Too sweet. Should have bought a tin of caramel condensed milk instead!

  • Entered 2 entries on the 11th. 1 claim denied yesterday with no reason and 1 claim denied today with "Has not provided original Woolworths receipts". Replied to their email showing proof of receipt but quite doubtful I will even get a reply.

    I just had my claim rejected for apparently not supplying the original Woolies receipt. I supplied the pdf straight from the everyday rewards app. Doesn't get much more original. Surely Lindt don't want to be known as being against the environment by requiring paper receipts?
    I am betting it was my $50 claim, not a $5 one.
    Be very careful with Lindt promotions. Still, at least I didn't get held hostage in a Lindt cafe.

    • The culprit is Woolies who prompts users to accept paperless receipt in the App.

        No. This is all on Lindt. Who are just incompetent.

      • The paperless and store receipts are almost identical and both contain the relevant information. All 5 of my claims had the paperless receipt attached. Two were accepted, the next three denied for not having original Woolworths receipts.Makes no sense!
        Not a good public relations look for Lindt in the lead up to Easter

        Paperless is not the problem. I’ve received “Has not provided original Woolworths receipts” on both my pdf receipt and paper receipt.

        So I guess they have a receipt template on what it should look like and it doesn’t look like what most of our receipts look like.

  • I've had all four of my individual claims rejected for not providing original woolworths receipts, which I did; and each was a separate transaction. Lindt has screwed up on this one.

    What email address should I send my complaint to? What email address did you use that successfully resolved the matter?

        • I entered 5 times… 11/2, 12/2, 13/2, 14/2, 15/2. (won 4x $5, 1x $10). Received 2x $5 giftcards on 18/2. Got the email last night that the others were denied for not producing original receipt. Every receipt I attached was the paperless receipt from the Woolworths app.

                      I got rejected for not having an invoice number (despite it being there) so I emailed the receipt again and explained where the invoice number was on the 19th Feb. Haven't heard anything since.

                        @trabug: Yeah, just checked my email and I received all 5 email approvals yesterday (after sending them a follow-up email on 22nd Feb). The emails says they will be texting me the vouchers within the next 7 days.

    Just tried to use my $5 Woolworths gift card in store. Loaded OK into Money app, but gave error and needed to call attendant over 3 times.. they didn’t know why it was happening either… could not use it.. not impressed

        This is the only one I have received. I entered a few days later and won another $5, not received yet..

    • I don't use the Woolies app for shopping so I printed my gift cards and used one a couple of days ago at the self serve and it worked.

      My claims were paid and they were all digital receipts - all 15 of them.

      I don't believe the issue is because you used digital receipts. Because even paper receipt submissions are getting denied.
