  • 16GB RAM, that's outrageous!

    • +2

Samsung s22 Ultra has left the chat (8 gb Ram 😛)

      • The higher memory model are 12gb and 16gb I think?

        • No 16GB ram in any s22 models. 12GB is the highest.

    • I have this phone well the 6s ghost version but everything else the same 256gb.. and funny enough it is very easy to max out the ram but for me it is JUST enough.. aka I don't have to clear anything out of the ram cache but I am close.

I can see myself using 32gb ram if I wanted to.

All those widgets and background stuff adds up.

Nice to have the extra functionality that is for sure but this is definitely for overkill users.

12gb I think is a good compromise for most.

8gb is cutting it close to aggressive app throwaway zone.

This is only good for gamers and very fast for general use.
You can consider there is no camera on this phone.

    • Gcam should make it acceptable given the processing power available?

  • I honestly thought ZTE wasn't even a presence in the Western smartphone market after the whole "spying" dummy spit a few years back and telstra canceling their dealings with them?

Lol.. 16GB of RAM that nothing will use (not even an infamous Nintendo Switch emulator will need).

But no SD Card with arguably small 256GB fixed storage.

Think they have their priorities wrong.

    • Yeah I wish I got the 512gb or 1tb version I think they do have a 1tb but can't recall right now.

256gb was easy for me to fill out plus this can record in 4k so that adds up.

As for 16gb ram you would be surprised how much you can use when you have lots of tiny apps running all the time in the background all those socials and widgets and background tracking apps etc.. it is all about how much info and data you want at the forefront ready to go all the time right now basically.

  • Looks like the price is back up to $1499. Does anyone have a receipt for the $999 price?
