LOL u can even build ur own at a cheaper price

  • Not sure how much does the Windows 10 digital pro cost. If no windows key included can lower the price and look better I think.

    • +1

Easy to find free key for Win 10 RTM Professional Volume:MAK online.

  • +2

Dear OP, please look at Techfast etc. and then consider doing an IQ test.

    • +4

Techfast did a similar spec 10400F 3060 Ti for $1548 but their shipping was about $140 compared to $20, I also had to wait 7 weeks from order for GPU stock. Plus they have unknown branded ram, case and gainward GPU instead of MSI. This also comes with a Windows key which techfast charges $120 for.

I know I'm comparing 3060 to 3060 Ti but it comes close when you take into account the parts used here and shipping + OS costs

      • +1

Thanks for your very warm reply!
Yes we are selling with specific components instead of unknown branded parts, we also provide options for almost all parts and comes with 2 years warranty as default for the whole PC system.
We will try to do better and better deals for you guys and thanks again, all your feedbacks are important to us and appreciated that!

      • Was about to say that Techfast has flat $20 shipping, but ye I just checked and their delivery prices have gone through the roof wth? says $57 for delivery of a tower to a suburb near melbourne cbd

        • Over 80 to qld

        • When did they offer flat rate $20? They didn't last year.

          • @Clear: I bought from them in 2019/20 and I donโ€™t think there was a shipping cost! $20 at most

            • @XCOM v2: Adelaide to Adelaide is pretty cheap freight ๐Ÿ˜‰

              • @Clear: True but I believe it was aus wide?

        • Sorry I went from memory, shipping was only $72 from techfast to WA

        • Windows 10 Pro is $223 at techfast also

      • Was this 7 weeks for the December order? That sucks they sent out 3070 builds within a week

        • 6.5 weeks for my early-mid Jan order. So 4 ish weeks later than promised. Partially their fault cos they fulfilled some mid-late jan builds before the early Jan builds. But covid got the gpu shipment delayed also

  • +2

    Yikes

No Win 11? Not ready for prime time yet?

    • +1

      • -1

        Why not? Lol

        • Start button moved to the middle, why would I want that?

  • +3

Umm op, I'm not sure you know how OzB works.. ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€

    • +6

Yes, we are new to OzB, learning more about this forum lol! thanks for the warm reply and we will try do better and better deal for you guys :)

    • TBF OzB lately has been OzRRP and more of a 'back in stock' reminder…

See Switch and PS5 'deals' lately. Most upvoted and literally ZERO discount.

Having said that, this isn't a deal.

Can't find the exact components but went for a better one, not a bargain.

Yeah, price seemed a tad high for the specs. Not much of a deal.

    • -1

      +Windows 10 Pro

      • +1

Windows 10 pro key is like 2 bucks in China

        • +6

Those are illegally being sold, I wouldn't recommend that you recommend anyone buy those.

Though you don't need to activate windows at all, you can download it for free from microsoft.com. Obviously if someone wants or needs the activated version than you can't just ignore that in the price.

So $120 for windows activation, building, one shipping price, one point of sale, one point of contact for returns, etc etc.

You've listed the cheapest prices from 6 different stores, which most probably charge shipping as well. So it's really not that bad of a deal.

Obviously you can potentially get all the parts cheaper if you wait until a sale for each of them and all that. But that's just one of the tradeoffs for the convenience.

        • +2

Buying a cheap grey market key is something an individual might do. Any business caught doing that risks legal consequences.

  • +1

Did I miss something? https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/WMRxrD ($1538, though the ram seems discontinued, so we can change that and say around $1500 worth).

Therefore the price of this deal seems quite decent.

    • +3

No one would buy buy HyperX Fury 2 x 8 GB DDR4-3200 CL16 at 170 so I used the RGB 3600 version instead, which is better and cheaper.

      • +2

Ye I already noticed that, and adjusted it. Seems like its discontinued and only one store sells it which is why its more expensive than it should be

        • +3

c16 3200 ram should be around 100 bucks and they constantly go on sale for around 80 bucks

  • +4

My main feedback would be with regards to pictures and case. In this deal, the listing on the case says RGB fan not included. Does that mean the case comes without fans at all or just non-RGB fans? The case in the parts section seems to imply it has 4 fans. With that in mind, I would suggest including a picture in the parts section of your website which shows what the actual part looks like when bought as is.

  • +3

People being a bit harsh here. Costs arenโ€™t far off tech fast

    • $700+ more expensive is a long way away from Techfast.

      • +3

Where is the techfast equivalent for $919 shipped?

        • -1

That was referring to the 3080 system. The BCP 6600XT system has been $1299 for ages. Higher raster performance and $300 cheaper.

  • +1

Ozbargain is just being inundated with shit GPU/system deals from retailers that held onto stock for too long and don't want to drop prices.
The market has changed, mining is finished in a few months and people aren't going to cop these terrible prices any longer.

  • Would suggest OP to check and compare the deals from Techfast & BPC Tech:

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/techfast.com.au
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/bpctech.com.au

Personally, I reckon the parts used in BPC Tech are better than the Techfast ones but Techfast is cheaper so you get what you paid for.

  • +2

    https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/9z7bv3 for a total of $4640.86
These would be the same components as the 3080Ti version posted above ($4999).

If you buy the 3080Ti vision OC at shopping express for $2599, the total will drop to $4540.86. The price of the case is $259, which is the same price as the case they offer on their website. If you purchase a cheaper case, the total will drop further. Consider the labour for assembling your components, it would be $100-$150 worth, the reasonable price would be around $4700, which is called NORMAL PRICE, not a deal. So there is still a $300 gap.

By the way, if you are willing to spend $2599 to get a vision OC, I would recommend MSI SUPRIM X 3080TI at Centrecom. Same price but top-tier.

    • +3

You also have to factor in RTB warranty and time wasted by unsavvy customers who will summon customer support at the first instance for simple things like when they cannot work out how to connect wifi or plug the display cable into graphics card instead of motherboard.

$300-400 is a fair gap at this price point.

  • +2

Not cheap and not particularly expensive. Parts cost roughly add up to the price. Upgradeable to i7 and i9? Would not put either of those in that motherboard.

To be ozbargain-worthy listings must be dirt cheap. The general rule is that if you are making any money out of it, then most likely it would not qualify as a bargain for our purposes.

  • Is the 3060 one as strong as XSX? Want to play HALO and Forza, and Gamepass, but thinking buying desktop PC instead as I can claim it for tax and can be use for other "thing" beside gaming

    • If you can tax deduct the PC then that's a no brainer isn't it?

    • if you just want the graphics card, then I think that they're tax deductible too. Since you can use them for mining, and mining is an income, therefore it's an expense related to your income :)
