Amazon AU have the Heinz Tomato Ketchup 4L for $11.14 + Delivery.
Heinz is definitely my fav tomato sauce/ ketchup brand.

Hopefully some restaurants/ pubs stock up on this. Don’t understand why they are so stingy with sauce here.

    Rosella for me

    • Was good until it got sold to overseas

      • +4

I believe Rosella has been Australian owned again since 2013

        • Yes Rosella is Australian.

In April 2013, Sabrands Australia, a private family company and the company behind Sunraysia fruit juice, purchased the Rosella brand and is manufacturing its soups, chutneys and relishes.

Yep Rosella is Aussie owned with Aussie ingredients.

    • Yeah and they correctly call it tomato SAUCE. This is Australia.

    Minimum order 2

    • I'm gonna need more than 2 haha

  • +1

Good deal but don't have the fridge space.
Much better than tomato sauce in my opinion and doesn't have high fructose corn syrup like American ketchup

  • $10.03 S&S
    Plus minimum order of 2.
    Total $20.05.

    Thanks OP, bought.

  • +3

It's been this price for the last 6 months.

4L? Minimum of 2? C’mon, fair shake of the sauce bottle.

Are you here to solve my ketchup problem?

  • Why are you HOPING that restaurants will stock up?
    Any interest on it?

    • +1

Did you read the sentence after the one you are paraphrasing?

Don’t understand why they are so stingy with sauce here.

This is made in New Zealand from imported ingredient

In other words, the ingredients could be coming from anywhere. Perhaps Kashgar or Hotan?

    • +2

Or China, where they use human effluent for fertiliser

      • +1

Both those places are in China..

        • Yes, but they are not known as agricultural districts

      • -2

So it's organic and a premium product.
Just like manure or blood and bone fertilizer.

This is also cooked so any pathogens will be killed.

    • or australia ….which is where the new zealand version tomatoes come from …… get onto heinz customer service …..i have sometimes seen heinz ketchup from the netherlands not just new zealnd ……. not sure where their source of tomatoes are but european food laws are more stringent then australian ….

lots of heinz products are now made in new zealand from ketchup to baked beans and canned soups …….

I think fountain and Rosella are better. Fountain is cheaper too, I bought two four litre bottles for $6 each the other day.

  • Price not showing up anymore? Plus no free shipping with prime?

Tips, for those like to get Maccas & Hungry Jack always ask for ketchup sachets as many as you can, keep the spare in the fridge for future use.
I don’t buy ketchup any more.

It’s Dead Horse mate. Not bloody ‘ketchup’.

Three Threes tomato sauce for me. More expensive but tastes so much better.

    https://www.threethrees.com.au/premium-sauces/

      • +1

Agree 100%. But I still prefer Three Threes.

        • +2

Wow these highrollers on the 98c/100ml sauce

          • +1

@Diji: That gave a chuckle. Am an old age pensioner, never thought of myself as a high roller, lol.

    • Three Threes is the best.

    • the secret ingredient in three three is they add a bit of mustard to their tomato sauce …..

  • What does everyone prefer between ketchup and tomato sauce? And why?

    • +1

first difference is consistency…..squeeze out heinz’s ketchup and tomatoes sauce ….the heinz’s ketchup is thicker because they have more tomatoes in the bottle, second difference is ketchup is spicier than tomatoes sauce ……

  • I still have gotten the $2 ketchup from the last amazon prime day deal from 2020 ? I think ?

  • +1

Thks brought 10 for my next horror movie production….
