OP was lured at the RRP and bolded 25% text

Their very first post on the Kraken deal 24 hours ago was fine (with revisions), though they had another unpublished post on a 27-Inch Dell monitor

Hope you did not jump on this price OP

    No deal, mate.

    Overpriced and poor refresh rate.

Since all the other comments are negative, Iā€™d like to chime in saying that 27ā€ 1440p is perfect for spreadsheet work.

4K can be a bit niche and upset a few computers trying to drive it, but 1440p @ 27ā€ is solid.

    • I have this as my second monitor sitting aside the DGF and it is fantastic. I just bought it for a lot cheaper than OP has posted

The main issue is there were some good deals for this in the past. The main reason people want it to be priced well is that, while it is a good monitor for general use, the menu and presets are setup for gaming. So, you don't get a pre-tuned sRGB mode. There is no HDR (though honestly, S series monitors, even if supporting HDR, are all fake HDR). It's understandable because Dell doesn't want the S series to affect U series sales.

It is still okay if you need a 27 inch 2K monitor right now. The included height adjustable stand is handy and the included speakers, while tinny, could come in handy at times. If you are not in a hurry, wait for a better deal.

  • Good monitor, just not a good deal unfortunately.

  • this is so not a good deal

  • I got it last night for $200. but 2nd hand one.

No deal. These go for way lower and you have their 4K ones going for even cheaper.

Better monitors out there for cheaper than this

  • Got this in the last deal. What 6-in-1 USB C/HDMI/PD/microSD adapter hubs can I use to pair this with a Asus G14 2021/2022 model or Razer blade 14? Thanks.
