  • This sounds pretty good … gotta go find 300 tracks now that I want, before I sign up :)

Oh, I take that back. Can you change the title to 300 free music track rentals? If you never get to keep it (only can listen to while you pay ongoing rent) then it isn't really 300 free music tracks at all … :S

  • So none of the 300 tracks stay with you (legally) after the trial ends unless you subscribe to their DRM infested subscription? If that's the case, this seems to be merely a "first month free" deal for their $30/month plan.

I guess it's okay if you would consider it anyway… maybe I expected more after seeing that marketing crap: "probably the best test drive you'll ever have"

    • I wouldn't buy music online that has been infested with DRM. But is there any alternatives? Still waiting for someone to show me the "secret" to buy from Amazon MP3 store that's currently US only…

      • I had a customer who once told me, "why buy music when the Internet gives them for free?". I lol'ed.

  • You have to install the LoadIt software and browse the site thru WMP which means the files aren't MP3s but WMA :( wrt to DRM I'm sure the DRM can be stripped by software that does this.
