On the Cashreward website I can see the 15% being advertised for TGG. However, the Cashreward plugin for Edge browser does not automatically indicate on TGG website for some reason. I think it should be ok as I can see my click history in my Cashreward account.

Good deal OP! Best price on OzB was actually $671 - but that was pre-pandemic.

    • +2

Yep, I posted that back then. Will be hard for this price to repeat post-pandemic.

Going on for 4 years and this machine has never let me down with all the things I throw at it. Strong motor and can mix heavy thick doughs easily.

That's great to hear, I decided to jump on OP's deal! Just seems like it's better in every way, except for maybe looks compared to the KitchenAid Mixers.

TGG eBay store - $719.10 with AFPY10 coupon.

  • +1

The best option is to sign up for the eBay plus trial and use AFPY10 code. This will get the price down to 719.10

Thanks OP. I was waiting for a good deal to buy a mixer. So lazy to make my dough by hand….

    • I have been tracking this for a couple of weeks for price in this range. Have enough of my partner banging dough on bench. :p

TGG bumped up the price to 999

I have this machine and it has been excellent. All the bowl attachments are super sturdy and there's a little light that helps you get better visibility in the bowl. Seems silly but it's super useful. Fits better into my kitchen style than the old look of the KitchenAid too. Would highly recommend.

Grabbed it from the TGG website, just waiting for CW to track.

In case if anyone interested, here is how I see this:

    In order of preference:
    1. 10yrs warranty. Assuming nothing breaks prematurely. Partner makes doughs on weekly basis, so $799 / 10 / 52 = $1.54 per week capital. Energy costs probably not worth much to consider.
    2. Research on KitchenAid mostly rave about older builds, don't want to risk in case newer builds are in lower quality, and they offer only 5yrs warranty.
    3. The halo light seem mighty useful.
    4. Lastly price. I'd still consider this machine in $900-$1k mark if there isn't any deal in few months.

    • 10 year warranty will be for like the motor or something, which may not actually be the thing that breaks. Also on the second point, apparently kenwood was legendary on the old models and the newer ones are nowhere near as sturdy. The older ones being better is probably more true for the kenwood from my limited research. All that being said this is probably a good machine. I was close to buying the smaller version of this until I saw a few reviews which favoured the kitchenaid. I'm still waiting for a top tier discount for kitchenaid, but if an amazing kenwood deal came up I'd probably be swayed.
