I'm thinking similar - although I reckon the OLED is worth the $63 premium. My OG is starting to get a bit creaky.
@The Captain: Honestly if you don't plan on hacking your switch then it's worth it.
I didn't have an interest in doing it and the new OLED screen is a huge boost. Games look so much better when playing handheld, they don't look washed out or anything anymore. Very vibrant and the battery lasts so much longer.

It doesn't claim to be anything else. Being mobile is the defining feature of the Switch - its point of difference from the other consoles - so a screen upgrade is a worthy improvement.
Only people without coin complain about it.

Managed to sell my 2019 Switch for around $430 and snagged this up for $459 with the $100 back from AP
I love it - Great upgrade - screen is really nice on the eyes and the sound is much better - Kickstand as well makes it much better on the belly playing on the bed haha
