    Cheers
Signed up the missus email for the spam and kids get the ball

      Signed up the missus email

      I used Dan Andrew's email address…
He can deflect the spam more effectively than most.

      • Scomo negged u lol

im already free balling, do i need one of these too

  • Do balls usually have springs in them?

    • No, but they do have a spermatic cord which supports the inner ball.

      • You might need it. Have a coffee and read the instructions again… you don’t need to buy a trampoline but you can. In that case you can use the voucher code…

        • I did purchase one of their tramps a few years back after visiting their outdoor showroom. Thrilled with the experience, they had them all set up and it was great to be able to bounce and compare the tramps, with the biggest one surprisingly not being the bounciest. It was great to test all the options.

          • @Heaps for Cheaps: I'm going to assume someone negged your comment because you said "outdoor showroom"!

Do balls usually have springs in them? …..Springs on mine went years ago..nowadays I wear good undies to stop them knocking against my knees

  • +2

    TRAMAMPALINE!…….TRAMBAMPOLINE!!!!!

  • +2

I read the title as an instruction

    • But i dont need to be subscribed to any newsletter to be free balling.

Did sign up. No email received.

  • Why do they need my phone number?

    • +4

      They're lonely.

  • Cool, thanks OP.

  • Nothing on that page says anything about a newsletter…

    • You click on the sign up button and it takes you to the sign up page.

      • No, it goes to https://www.springfreetrampoline.com.au/newsletter-sign/.
In fact, I don't see any link to the page the OP gave (maybe it's my ad-blocker.)
Doesn't matter, I'm just being pedantic.

        • Its a popup. Then it links you to a page where it asks you name address phone number email.

I was using bromite browser. Was not getting the pop up. Went to use chrome and got the pop up to sign up for newsletter.

          • @xoom: Ah, a pop up. I remember seeing those about the time I used MySpace.

It's just going to end up as junk/ landfill. The retailer gets your info to sell you stuff (or sell your details to someone else) and you get to pollute the environment just a little bit more. A bit sad :(

    • That's kind of like - there are kids starving in Africa… with no balls.

      • I've got a trip booked to Kenya later this year and will take my balls for them to use

        • +1

Hope you don't get you arrested…

    • +4

Yeah let's ban sports so those balls don't go in the landfill.

    • Its only junk or end up in land fill if you aren't going to play with it. I'm gifting mine to some relative with kids.

      • +1

Its only junk or end up in land fill if you aren't going to play with it.

and who doesn't like playing with their balls ??????

        • Cops might arrest you if you do this public. Specially around where kids congregate.

          • +1

@xoom: You might need a Working With Children Check.

            • @jv: I got one of them. All clear.

              • +2

@xoom: Do you also have a covid safe plan?

You'll probably want to spray disinfectant on your balls if many people are handling them.

                • @jv: Spraying them with glen20 ought to do it.

                • @jv: Don't get testy with xoom here…

            • @jv: Buster Gonad likes playing with his balls

    • +1

The balls already exist. You not subscribing will not stop them from existing and 'going to landfill'.

      • But if i dont protest then i may one day lose my right to.

        /s

I think the idea is to not get a free ball which will never get used by you, and just be thrown out in the next spring clean or whatever. Not to just jump on freebies without intention to use.

Someone else might have desire to use the ball for years. Then, in 20 years when the ball is passed onto their kids or grandkids, it can be thrown into the latest tech recycling machine… or something like that.

  • +3

Looks like the registration page has been pulled. Can only see t&c now.

    • +2

I have a feeling nobody will be getting a ball but everybody will be getting their newsletters.

      • +1

Well gonna find out in the next few days or couple of weeks. I signed up with an email address i use for signing up to crap and practically every junk mail received there is ignored.

Those who got in early might still get their free ball. Only time will tell.

        • +1

          You got no balls!

      • +1

I got mine and my neighbor just got tracking details for hers!

        • +2

I got mine today. It's actually very high quality, feels great. Oddly enough it was sent to my old address instead of what I input into the field, but I did purchase a trampoline approx 10 years ago from them… Thrilled!

Looks like another business farming details…..

  • This post got shades of the previous deal. Only you pay $2 for them to post you a soccer ball.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/389383

    • Maybe because this one was out of stock in 2 hours.

      • +1

        Ozbargained. LOL

  • So will any of us have our balls handed to us or not???

    • +1

To answer my own question: Yes.

Mine just arrived, and it even comes with a hand pump and adaptor which will come in - ahem - handy for other blow up devices. (For the pool! Devices for the pool! Don't judge.)

      • 2 junk emails. No ball received.

Just the newsletter. Not this one.

        Thanks for joining us!

Auspost has added a tracking from Springfree Trampoline, looks like I'm getting one :)

    • I think mine was delivered by an employee, that's why it was quick and I never got a notification.
      Maybe he lives nearby.

  • I also just received a Aus Post message that a delivery from Spingfree is due to be delivered!

    • +1

      +1!

  • +1

Okay, few days late compared to others but Auspost just told me i'm getting a shipment from Springfree.

  • +1

Just got mine in today as well.

  • +1

Got mine today, it had no packaging and was just plastic wrapped in the letterbox - weird!!

    • What did you expect? Gift packing? It’s a promo!

      • +1

If its not on a silver platter with ribbons. I will send it back. Thats just unacceptable.

        /s

      • As in, it wasn’t in an envelope or parcel, no name or address, it was just a ball and pump in a plastic bag in the letterbox !

        • They hand-delivered it, that was nice of them.

  • Got my tracking notification today (Perth)

  • Im jelly. People getting their free ball. All i got was 2 lousy newsletters.

  • +1

Got the ball! Nice and it is in Ukrainian colors! The Pump is very handy too!

  • Got my ball but on first pump up it leaks and can hear a hiss. Overnight it’s now half flat. Can I repair it or did I get a dud ?

    • Fill a bucket with water. Submerge the ball and give it a squeeze. Where you see air bubbles is like where the air is escaping from.

And just got a notification in austpost app that i got a parcel on the way from springfree trampoline nsw. Free ball here it comes.

      • "Where you see air bubbles is like where the air is escaping from."
The problem is that the material does not feel repairable, it's a fabric outer with the punctured rubber underneath.

        • +1

It’s the valve I’m pretty sure

          • @dammit: Same - it's the valve. High quality obviously.

    • Yeah same..it leaks..the only free thing is the pump imo :D

      • I left the ball i got inflated and have squeezed and bounced it every once in a while and still inflated.

You two might have gotten a dud.

  • Received

  • Gotta say I am impressed with the ball. Not bad for a freebie. Just received mine. Inflated it with the included pump.

  • Got mine today, seems to be hand delivered, just left on my doorstep, no address or anything. Pretty cool little pump with it.

    • Yes. That pump was a nice touch.

    • same here, wonder how they hand deliver these. Which suburb you at?

      • Also the address and house keys thanks!

      • Weird that these are getting hand delivered. Mine came in a black plastic bag with my adress details on it.

Sure it was shoved in the letter box instead of them handing it to me. But eitherway i got it.
