I have been looking at this TV for a while. It's usually $1999. This is the cheapest for the 55'' that I have seen.

        Ebay store had it for 1996, 10% off Afterpay + 2% off on 1000 ebay gift card.
        Looking at some of the ebay comments i was first sceptical on the quality, but surprisingly, the “damage” that makes my unit second seems like a fit issue on the back of tv near the IO .

  I got the 65" for less after Sony price match and cashback. Not a great deal for the 55" version. Great TV though.

      Sony matched Costco's price of $1989 from memory, then got another 8% cashback from Cashrewards. This was a few months ago though.
