  I have sz-10 which the is 18 optical zoom version of this.
  Its so shitty in low light conditions.
  Last year at a singapore night safari i was cursing the camera as
  the tour guide went bananna's at anyone who used a flash lol.

  Absolutely hopeless without a flash.. With flash a bit better lol.

  I would grab this for that price though..
  learn how to use the camera manually properly and you will have a
  nice camera and take great zoomed in shots if you have a steady hand im guessing.

    yeah low light and compact cameras = nightmare

    The new compact interchangeable lens cameras are pretty good now. SLR sensors in tiny bodies = win

      People should be aware that even the smallest SLR sensors are over TEN TIMES bigger than the vast majority of compact cameras.
