  • $29 fee is really good. There are some other good deals available through Qantas card comparison for QFF fans.

St George is better because you're getting 12 months of Kayo

  • Application looks very similar to St George. Is it because of Amplify? St George and Bank of Mel both came back to me with same outcome. Wondering if Bank SA will have the exact same outcome.

Aren't they all the same bank just trading under different names?

      • Makes sense now. I'd rather stay away for now.

  • Is banksa also part of Westpac mob? I know with st George they can access your Westpac statements to double check things.

    • Yes. And also bank of melb.

No lounge passes is a bummer..that being said, didn't get to use the last 8 …

  • Got rejected, automatic system rejection. Don't waste your time.

    • You can call them, mine got rejected too but after I called it got sorted out

  • My bonus points came in as soon as I hit the spend requirement, rather than having to wait for the end of the statement cycle :)

  • Anyone know if these can be converted to Virgin or Singapore Airlines? Doesnt say much on their website.

  • Just confirming this works. For 83150 points, you can buy a $79, $99 and $279 annual fee cashback, even though you never paid those annual fees. You can't buy more than one of each in the store, but you can buy all three in one transaction and about a week later, you'll have $457 credited to your account. I made sure to spend $3150 total on the card so I then had 20000 points left to buy $90 in eBay or Bunnings gift cards.

    • What do you mean by buying annual fee CB

      • The Amplify store has listings to spend points to get your annual fee credited to your account. 14400 points for $79 annual fee rebate, 18000 points for $99 annual fee rebate, and 50750 points for a $279 annual fee rebate. However, they don't have any checks in place to see if you actually paid the annual fee that you're claiming for, and you can buy one of each listing.

        • Ok so if you pay $79 by points you are actually adding $79 credit to card?

    • Looks as though the annual fee cashback options have been removed from the Amplify store. I cannot see any items under Gift Cards >> Financial Services.

I have also used their search function but came up with donuts.

I can still see them (@11/5/2022)
They are labelled like '$99 Amplify Platinum Visa Card Annual Fee Rebate' if that helps.

        • Yes thanks they appeared a few days after my comment. I'm now waiting for the rebates to be credited to my account.

          • @BigDadda: I'm still waiting. Did you have any luck?
Sent a support request a week ago and haven't heard a response for that yet either.

            • @DerpFactory: Nothing has appeared on my statement.

Might have to call them to get thus sorted out.

        • Can you claim rebate for $279 Amplify Signature Visa Card Annual Fee Rebate if you hold a the Amplify Platinum Visa Card?

          • @Skykiwi: I claimed $279, $99 & $79 and received them in fact on the 1st June.

I also did a bunnings voucher for the remainder.

            • @BigDadda: That's great to know @BigDadda, how long did you had to wait? Thanks
