    Hi, Pump start is 410mm and Pump stop is 100mm. It will leave 100mm of water in the pit.

      This is exactly what it's designed for. Automatic float to pump out water as soon as the water hits 410mm. The pump turns on and pumps out the water.

    Hey Rep, I assume this isn't right for use in a rainwater tank to water the garden. Do you have a cheap pump that is right for that application? We've relied on gravity and let it trickle, but I've always wanted to get something that is more like watering with a hose.

      This is not suitable for a garden use. It doesn't have the pressure you need to run your application. Are you looking for a submersible pump or an external pump. External pump is a lot cheaper, and generally a lot easier to install

    Hey Rep, replacing our water tank & pump, do you have a recommendation for 35M furthest distance, 3 simultaneous outlets - main use is laundry, flush and garden.

    Does this have any sensitive electronics ?
    Im wondering about running this off a cheap generator (its output is too 'dirty' for sensitive electronics like computers).

      Like most pumps this pump needs a good clean energy supply. that said it's not as fickle as a normal domestic pump with a controller on it. It's the electronics that cause most issue with cheap generators.

      This pump is used a lot in building sites that get flooded and runs on generators. I can't imagine all the generators that are used are good quality and we haven't had a faulty one come back yet.

    How dirty can the water be? Some of my drains fill up with mud and leaves.

    Although it has a semi open vortex impeller, the pump is mostly used for clean run-off water. It will handle dirty water (suspended dirt) , but not thick muddy water.
