Price drop from retailer + eBay coupon = amazingly low price! 'More than 10 available' on both, so hopefully it doesn't run out too soon.

Maybe the 15% off Afterpay code in 2 days will yield better prices, but this already looks really good.

    +1 for 3060 mini reference

  • +7

only if the fuel price drops like GPU now.

  • +25

It's good that I'll be able to afford a Gaming PC soon, considering I can't afford to drive anywhere anymore.

  • $738 now. Only $108 more to go.

Should I panic buy like seagull fighting over chip or hodl? I have RTX 970

    • +2

Hope by Easter, we gonna get this for MSRP!

      • +3

buddy of mine paid 1050$ for a 3060 Ti a week ago (in store) …poor guy thought it was a deal. I should tell him I paid $1,139 for a 3080 on launch.

        • +2

Ouch, I had a moment of regret paying $850 for a 3060ti in August… then I remembered I've at least had 7 months of happy gaming in that time (and I sold a 2060 super for $650, so a good upgrade)

          • +2

@freefall101: oh yea that's definitely not significant enough to lose sleep over, especially since you got use out of it.

            • @[Deactivated]: I'm still jealous as anything of you people who bought release ones, that was when I bought my 2060 super 😂

I really hope mining completely dies by the time the 4xxx series comes out. And China doesn't attack Taiwan.

  • +1 as it is good price for now. My guess is, it will be lower two months later.

    • +5

My guess is it will be $650 within 2 weeks if people could refrain from buying them. They need to stay in stock for prices to drop but saboteurs be saboteurs

    • +1

Two months later is roughly when Intel Alchemist would release.

Intel just officially confirmed 30th of March as the release date for laptop graphics cards, so the desktop version will follow in May or June.

Is the mini card gimped in anyway? Is the single fan enough to cool it down properly?

    • most single fan gpus never turn off when not in use, its always at least 30%.

They get loud but cool enough for what they are.

But you can get it down another 10 degrees at max by replacing the thermal paste with some top tier paste-like kryonaut

  • I would be happy to pay $82 more for the ROG version($819.90), much better cooling system, https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/265562060837

Ahhhh man I just decided to be content with my 1080 but now getting spicy.

    • +2

      I have a 1070 and it's getting compelling haha

      • GTX 1070 sellers are hodling firm and want $450 minimum on ebay lol.

        • +1

Lol, I bought mine twice cheaper from eBay 2 years ago.

      • I can get 450 for my OC Gigabyte 1070?? Time to sell haha

        • Note: The g1 on eBay has a price of 490 - time to sell and hodl

  • -1

    Lhr?

  • +6

I note with interest that the notorious spruiker for high GPU-prices - Mr. “non-lhr” - has NOT entered the chat…
2nd-hand mining cards have not hit the market in any quantity yet. But they will. Soon

    • non-lhr is a meme account, they've actually posted good deals on cards themselves, I don't think they are a spruiker for high prices

  • +1

More than 10 available / 46 sold in one hour

    Lol

  • +1

Good price but I'm gonna wait out abit longer

  • Asus Phoenix RTX 3060 V2 12GB Mini GPU $575.10 Delivered

    really good price!

    • +1

Further 3% off if you have access to eBay GC.

  • +1

What does it mean by "Mini", because of single fan?

Nearly paid that much for a 3050.

    • +1

oops! yeah, mini = 1 fan

      • "mini" is a reference to this post. Not the number of fans.

  • are people buying the mini for their itx cases?

  • I approve these prices (Thumbs up!)

  • Are all of these LHR?

    • +2

      yes, yes, 100% yes.

  • Damn this is a good price. Went fast!

  • expired as I was about to check out :(

    • Rip

    • Better deals await.

  • Seems like the first reasonable prices for these..
Will keep an eye out for some MSI non LHR cards before eofy, wouldn't mind upgrading my MSI 2060 super, assume a 3070 (Ti ?) Would be the way to go, don't know if they do supers anymore? Nice if I can still sell the 2060s for good money.(nothing actually wrong with it btw)

    Cheers

    • There are no more new non-LHR cards, and I don't believe the 3070Ti was ever released FHR either

      • hmm no worries - nothing wrong with this for my work/casual gaming just seeing what would be the next/logical upgrade, sounds like it's worth waiting a few months anyway.

        Cheers,

  • wow for a 3060 TI thats a good price.

  • -4

Shame the dumb morons keep clearing them out of stock. Honestly to hell with them!

Haven't they already seen what waiting can do? Another mere 2 weeks of not clearing them out of stock and they'll be msrp. Guess they don't care, it meets their value and they're willing to serve themselves.

Kind've like all the millennials waiting for 580k for a 300k house that they didn't want in 2014. Once the market cools and the main drivers disappear (in this case mining) the fomo sheep still ruin it.

And no I'm not a hypocrite, I chose to hodl both 3060ti deals and am running a gpu from 2014. So I actually need to upgrade more than you. Don't see me being a selfish pos and buying one and threatening the price corrections

    • I just dont want a 200W TDP card that looks to pump up total system power to 400w

      i max out at 250w with my RX6600XT at the moment… i guess a 3060Ti wouldn't a massive upgrade anyways… i want prices on the 6700XT to come down.

      • The moment you see house prices start to drop, would you like to see a flock of goldfish idiots run in buy up and compromise that too?

Luckily there's enough gpu supply the goldfish will only slow the price drops not stop them. But no wonder cost of living is so high with these contemptible goldfish in our society. They have absolutely no values or integrity. They're still rushing to pay over msrp to the same people trying to gouge them the past 12 months. It's not like they need a kidney off them, why are these people so pathetic? No desire to punish the sharks only soften the downturn for them by paying $750 for a $650 gpu.

        • +1

Also another news worth paying attention is XFX's dodgy importing of GPUs:

          https://videocardz.com/newz/xfx-china-website-shuts-down-aft…

Their GPU price dropped a lot recently. My guessing is now the AIBs are recycling the used GPUs from miners and gave them completely cleaning and fixing to make them look like brnad new ones. Almost no one can tell if it was mining before by brand new re-packaging.

Certainly AIBs will provide 3 year warranty as the brand new one but it just feels bad to get the refurbished ones at brand new price.

          • @BennyHe2018: My take on what happened here was just mainland China 'cracking down' on a very widespread practice of underreporting the price of GPUs (by mislabeling them as lower spec than they are) to avoid extra tax, because they are using soft power to punish HK/Taiwan. Had XFX in particular done something to upset the CCP? Not sure, might just be a warning shot across the bow of all HK/Taiwanese tech companies that this common tax avoidance practice is over

      • I wouldn't bother upgrading from a 6600XT to a 6700XT.

  • Hold!

    • why?

  • Is 3060 Ti worth the price difference of $129 over regular 3060? Basically $697 vs $568. Missed the cheaper one just now.

    • yes worth but expired
