  • How do you do this when Afterpay limit is $2,000 in one transaction and the postage cost puts it over $2,000? They are out of stock every where I look. Ok if you can find one to pick up.

    • I updated the deal with a workaround for the $2,000 limit.

      • Yeah somehow you can it to work.

    • Maybe at checkout when you apply the discount code the after pay payment is under 2000?

  • change it to click and collect once its in your cart..

  • Wouldn't deal with GG ebay team again if they paid me.

    • I have a bad feeling about my order, they contacted me on Thursday to say a courier would contact on Friday….now it is Monday and complete radio silence. How do you contact this team, they have not responded to my ebay enquiry.

      • They don't respond until you send the formal 'where's my order' request. Then take 3 days to answer and cancel your order if you don't say, within 24 hours, that you'll keep putting up with their 'service'.

  • Hi op, 1995 on website, so stack PLSMAR5 with AFPYDY?

    • Does not stack

      • But I think the instruction above stands

    • +1

It's $1995 +Shipping. Once shipping fees are added, this make the total over $2000 Afterpay limit. Using the PLSMAR5/7 brings total including shipping below $2K again thus letting you choose Afterpay as payment option. This then let's you apply the AFPYDY coupon to the total instead of the PLSMAR5/7.
If you're like me and doesn't have a high enough spending limit, go buy ebay GC from somewhere like ShopBack to make uf the difference, or even most of it and pay just a bit using Afterpay

  • bugger, tried to purchase limit on after pay is $1000 for some reason

    • +1

I think you can pay the difference with gift cards.

      • I thought I had heard that was a workaround but not seeing any where on screen to enter gift cards?

        • +1

You enter them in the same field as the coupon.

          • @HomeAlone: cheers, now will my gift card get here before this sells out and i'm left with gift card >.<

      • Ebay gift cards I presume?

        • +2

          Answer my own question yes.

Used Shopback to buy the ebay gift cards and then apply them to the voucher section.

Its a lot of juggling, ebay, afterpay, shopback, and my bank (to pay it all back from my credit card). I guess this is the Ozbargain way.

Thanks for the heads up on the deal.

          • @awaddell: damn, dare I ask how much you saved with Shopback route?

            • +2

@Osiris: 3% cashback on the gift cards at Shopback.

eBay has redemption limits on gift cards so would be max $45 cashback if using $1,500 worth of cards.

              • $1,500 per transaction
              • $2,000 per day
              • $5,000 per calendar month
              • @HomeAlone: Thanks H/A, Good little saving but not enough that I'm kicking myself for not doing the same :D

            • +2

@Osiris: I only did $1000 on Shopback so that's a $30 cashback on top of the original deal.

  • Thanks OP, was waiting on a C1 deal for a new office monitor. Was going to get the 55" but this is good.

  • This or u7g or the Sony xd75j?

  • +1

Anyone having trouble applying both codes ? I followed OPs instructions, but always get only one voucher is allowed error . ( Using eBay app)

    • Same..

    • Maybe you need to use website?

You can't stack the codes, the first one drops the price below 2K so you can then select afterpay and apply the afterpay code which gets you down to OP's price without delivery.

      • OK.. i get what you mean now. Using the 5% off code is just to allow the afterpay code be applied.

  • How does this go as a monitor? any real world experience?

    • -4

Burn in. Lots of burn in

    • +1

I use a CX 48 as a monitor for my gaming pc. Image quality is excellent but overall I'd suggest waiting for a smaller size as this is too big unless you have a deep desk. I haven't had any issues whatsoever with burn in but I do keep a black background and autohide taskbar, no desktop icons etc. I'll probably change to a qd-oled at ideally 144hz or above.

  • +1

Is it worth the extra 400-500 to go for 55in? This is my first proper TV and idk if I should spend more or not :(

    • +1

I think you are better off getting the 55inch unless the space you watch from is really small. The extra 7 inch is still gonna make a noticeable difference in my opinion.

    • +1

55" has been cheaper before so don't know if you wanna wait? And depends on your space

  • Grabbed one - thanks so much, been keeping an eye out for a decent deal on this model/size for ages (specific sized TV space that this is perfect for).

  • Can this be wall mounted? Is it slim?
Also, can we connect multiple Bluetooth headphones for audio out?
    Thanks

  • Want to get this for my parents but I’ve only used Afterpay once before (on a really small purchase).

My total afterpay spend is $600 - but i’ve linked it to my Amex as well. Any ideas to be able to increase this and get the afterpay discount?

    Cheers
