  • $1320 USD on Amazon.

With AP deal it's an excellent $ imo.

    • amazon US is full of scalpers, its no longer a place to find a good deal on GPU's

Did you read the article? It means Australia is getting excellent deals atm whilst US has poor value.

        • Did you read it? That's for the 12 GB model.

          • @iseeyou1312: Which equates to $1,805.97 Australian Dollars right?
The eBay 12 GB is cheaper, $1,771.00 then take off 15%

            • @[Deactivated]: Not sure if the words "3080 12gb" and "deal" belong in the same sentence, but I think that's the lowest it's ever been. Unlike the 3080 10gb in the OP, where there's been different models selling for $300+ less recently.

              Price cut lol… Now it's a deal :)

  • This or the Asus strix for $1499?

    • This is what I'm tossing up too. Seems like Boost Clock on the Asus is 1905 vs. the EVGA's 1755.

Is there anything else we should keep an eye out for when comparing cards?

      • Length and Slot compatibility. Asus one is bigger

    • The STRIX looks nice, but I have had a great run with EVGA cards.
I can't find the STRIX for $1,499, can you share?

Too expensive, the vision this morning was under $1200., why spend $300 more for the same thing?

      • +2

For the average user yeah stick with the vision for just under $1200 but for the enthusiasts who wants better parts i.e fans, heatsinks, the $300 may be worth it … Offers better overclocking potentials perhaps? Clocks higher, better thermals…

        • not worth $300, maybe $30 that's against the spirit of ozz bargain. lol.

  • This WILL hit below $1300 in coming weeks.

No it wont, if you look at the trend, a large import has been done by 3 companies, most good GPUs already sold out in 1 day. You will be waiting a long time before supplies are replenished, while this is happening the suppliers wont move on the already provided 25% cut.

        • No it didn't it is listed as $1511, you cannot use AP discount as an excuse as the supplier has NOT passed this saving on, you need an AP account and the sale is only for 3 days. This has nothing to do with the current $ of the GPUs.

@[Deactivated]: I mean technically speaking it is still under $1300 and it's right there and available. Yes, it might not be for everyone but you could also say the same for all the GPU deals being posted as AfterPay Day Deals :) Have a great day good sir

@ven041: No I wont have a great day, you can't tell me what to do, you're not my mum.

Needs to be a couple hundred cheaper for RRP. I purchased one of these on release for $1250 from PLE computers. As of this post no one has purchased it today:

Why would anyone purchase this when there was a 3080 for $1198 using afterpay

  • It's raining graphics card hallelujah.
