  • Anyone able to assist with locking please?

  • -1

Are people still helicopter locking? Is there a new method?

    • +12

Every method involves a helicopter, unless your in the area already.

Although I understand your hesitancy in landing a chopper in Yeronga, you mightn't see it again.

      • Is Yeronga QLD as bad as Gonsells WA?

I mean in Gonsells they had a man arrested over attack with swastika painted backwards on his head.

        • Was that the guy with the flamethrower? Happened around the corner from me.

I'm gonna say no it's not as bad.. I've seen drug raids, people chased over fences in people's yards, car chases, dumped cars, a meth lab explosion and multiple house and bush fires over the last 5 years. Never ever a dull day in Gozzy!

In b4 Can I use diesel in my petrol car?

  • +3

Edit: Be quick, this happened on Monday too (they dropped it to $1.799) but it went back up within the hour

  • Thanks. I have locked it in.

  • +3

use 3utools with iOS device is easiest way

  • Can anyone help with helicopter?

    • As impoze stated above, iOS device and 3utools - perfect

      • +1

It's just pure laziness easier for them to cook up some copy pasta and serve it out to current pilots hoping they will fly for them.

  • Thanks OP, locked in.

lowest price according to fuelcheck is $2.23

  • +6

    Chopper is available

    • +3

      Legend, thanks for this mate

    • +3

  • +2

    chopper is leaving the station

    • Can I please get a chopper ride? will try and do 3utools as well

  • +1

My chopper has enough fuel until 2:45, send through your account details if you want a lock in.

You might want to specify timezone for that… Sydney time it's 3:37pm
And don't expect anyone to respect the time you've posted either (even if you do specify it)

Your inbox is going to get flooded with people that are incapable of flying
This explains my position on "contributing to the community" by way of flying for others

I don't need your chopper btw, I have 7 that I let others fly

      • +1

Good point. To clarify for anyone reading, I will lock in for about another 10 minutes.

I was once stuck chopperless when all my attempts to get it to work on my andriod were too hard and a fellow ozbargainer helped me out once. So I suppose I don't mind doing it for others. At least for now.

        • I was once stuck chopperless when all my attempts to get it to work on my andriod were too hard and a fellow ozbargainer helped me out once.

You could have posted in the 7/11 thread.. I've made a complete guide to get it going now, and there's others who will also attempt to help you after you list the exact steps

I know it's not easy (I've set up 10 devices now), but the savings are the sweet reward for your hard work, and if you venture on the path, others that have walked the path before you are happy to show you da wae

          • @cwongtech: defo mixed bag of responses - some were nice, some were not so nice.. n negs for missing out.. lol~

having said that, it wasnt bad to make someone's day while u r already set up… that's the whole point of giving without expectation, right?

i also get caught out without chopper every now n then, as most people r back to the office (:

            • @squidz:

i also get caught out without chopper every now n then, as most people r back to the office (:

Are you using android? You can set it up to be remote accessible like I do..

              • @cwongtech: i have both, just not quite keen on rooting my android :D
hence, i need a pc to fly my chopper

  • Does this work if you are in Victoria ?

    • +1

If you have it locked in on your account it will work anywhere from my understanding

    • Yes, you just need to spoof your location to Yeronga and lock in the fuel. Then it is valid for 7 days

      • +1

        you said the s word

        • nooo…. he/she shall not be named

  • +1

Cheers Op, just got in my helicopter and flew there.

  • +1

    $1.799

    Blows your mind drastically, fantastically

  • Lol my chopper was just on the petrol ones to help them all the petrol lads and now they have this 😅

  • Any helicopter has a spare seat? My diesel Ford needs some lovin after all the fish and chip oils

  • not working for me, using the exact coordinates, anyone still have it workin?

  • I can't seem to be able to select "Diesel" when trying to find prices, the last result I could select was "Autogas". Is there more options that I can't seem to be able to scroll to?

The app shows "Special Diesel" and the best price I could get for "Special Diesel" around Yeronga was $2.10

    • +1

You might have just missed it mate. I think they just have one type of Diesel

      • Was busy getting my hands on a Windows machine to set up 3U Tools …

        Better prepared for next time.

  • game over

now showing Salisbury as cheapest with 214.9c

  • Price seems to have reverted, we shall send choppers another day

  • Dammit…. didn't get time to spoof

  • Didn't even need chopper from Brisbane CBD

  • 3uTools having errors for anyone else when trying to modify locaiton?

    • Worked fine for this chopper

      • must be my cable, ive uninstalled the program several times and it comes up with the message to "restart my device" whenever I modify location.

  • Dam I had to drive to 7s to put fuel in to use my fuel lock, just to get back home to find the price went up.

Does any open know if there's a way to surrender your current fuel lock without using it (or it expiring)?

I stupidly scanned my 1.74 lock for a $10 top-up cause I was in a rush, wasted it and could only lock in 2.10.

Before anyone jumps down my neck, back in the early days you had to scan the voucher specifically in the app, not just the "card".

    • +3

      Make multiple accounts

      • Didn't think it would be easy but I should have thought of this, thanks!

  • -1

How does this work? You buy fuel on app by spoofing? And then you redeem it? Sounds weird

    • +1

You spoof your location, then lock in fuel on the 7-11 Fuel app… Nothing weird about locking in a price that 7-11 will honour within a 7 day period.

Either lock it in cheap, or pay full price. $15-20 dollar saving.

      50lt's @ 2.159 = 107.95 AUD
      50lt's @ 1.799 = 89.95 AUD

      Saving 18 AUD.

I have an standard iPad Pro, not jailbroken. Download 3uTools. Connect iPad to laptop/PC with 3uTools. Activate virtualisation to the co-ordinates as shared by ya fellow OZB'er's, open 7-11 App, lock in price, and ### SAVE ###.

That is the literal deal of this whole site.

  • got a 1.797 diesel expiring at 9.29pm tonight for the first person to reply here.
only reply if you can use it for a decent tank load, not to save $1 or 2.
I will name and shame you if it does not say 'you saved >$10'

    • Hey mate would ne awesome

      • well done - you saved ~$20.

  • Any one have a diesel lock that’s expiring?

  • +1
    • nice, I saved $25 on a full tank
