    are you 100% certain there was no power cable in the air filter unit? i was confused too but checked in there and found it. might be attached to the panel or something

      Yep, had 3 people check in there. Looked behind the filter, collapsed the box to make sure it wasn't loose or hiding somewhere. It's not attached to the panel. The diagram on the warranty book specifies exactly where to find it, but nope, nothing. 😕

    Missing the power cord

    According to the package contents, the figure eight power cord should be included.

    did not have a anything there apart from the filter itself.

    That doesn't sound right. There should be a white cover. Did you double check the box?

      when i bought it from kogan they shipped the AU cord (not adaptor, a whole cord with AU plug) in a separate parcel. maybe check with seller?

        I have and they have agreed to refund me $10 to buy the cord separately. Now I have to wait another week for that cord to arrive.

      Right you are on both counts.
      No white cover. Flattened the box by hand. AND the big ebay box that came with it too, just in case. I found the adapter, but nothing else.

    Update:
    Shook the unit and heard movement. Opened the rear cover, pulled the filter out et VOILA! There it was!
    I feel like a total fool now, but … I'm getting an aussie cord out of it, so wth…

  I just received mine - the power cord is in the back filter compartment, however the adaptor doesn't work - it won't fit with the cord! Also, the adaptor is non-compliant, (doesn't have the correct insulation) for the Australian market.
  I've contacted the seller on eBay, hopefully they can send me a proper cord.

    Update: They refunded me the cost of a working adapter, so I can buy a proper cord.
