        • Thanks for reminding me .. Suncorp did stop accepting prepaid CCs though ..

        • 3% off if you have Macquarie bank account. Their marketplace is filled with alot of discounted giftcards

    • Not sure why you're surprised. Remember when Woolies gift cards used to be "just" 5% off? That was probably the most commonly posted deal here. Same concept.

5% off the price of something that is rarely discounted and very frequently used for everyday purchases from a bar of soap to a computer terminal.

Seems like a bargain to me.

And much better than, say, 20% off something specific that you really didn't need but will purchase anyway simply because it's a bit cheaper.

Isn't that the whole point of this site. Buy stuff you never really needed at discounted prices to "save" money?

    • +1

for people who shop a lot on Amazon (especially with Prime), this is 5% off all your purchases.

Even if you get unactivated gift cards, it isn't really that hard to call to get them activated…

  • Surprised it is still in stock.

    • +1

yeah just saw this. Immediately bought 4.

      • 2 accounts?

        • +1

same account, 2 transactions. Seems fine

    Thanks, 10 bucks in pocket

Technically $190 out of pocket and waiting for $200 GCs …

      • +1

Compared to the piddly < 0.1% interest you get from the money sitting in an account. Bargain.

        • -1

Or literally $190 out of pocket until you get replacement or call them up.

Btw if you're only getting <0.1% on your savings account, then I'm not sure you're a real OB'er.

          • @johnmelb: I've purchased these multiple times before from Auspost without issues. Yes you can maybe get extremely unlucky, but I've had way worse than a 40 minute phone call. That is actually a "good" standard these days sadly enough. (Looking at you Qantas)

Also I was referring to the up 2 weeks you would be without the cash/interest, not a whole year. (You don't get 1% back in 2 weeks)

      • Arrives at Christmas lol

  • Can the Coles prepaid MC buy these ?

    • +1

Yes, because you can pay with paypal and you can add the prepaid GC in your paypal.
No I didn't try it with this specific product, but did buy multiple times with prepaid GCs via paypal on other sites.

Arrived today and added code to get funds to my account no issues at all!

For those like me who do first and read later, you do not need to scratch the code at the back, there is a corner from where the whole thing can be pulled off revealing the code. So no need to find a coin etc. Just reading!

  • Arrived today. Loaded into Amazon account with no problem. Thanks OP again.

  • Just ordered. Still available.

    • Hope you don't live in Sunnyvale then, maybe track them down and give them a thonging if they do!

  • The four cards arrived (Nsw) ! Redeemed easily. No need for activation etc. You just have to put in the code that’s all at Amazon to redeem.
