    130db!? That's equivalent to a jet take off and will likely damage your hearing.

    What's this going to stop if you're both having to hear it? It's not like a dog whistle that's a different frequency, you're going to cross the threshold of pain right with that other person (or do you tactfully pull out noise protection ear muffs)

      I feel like these are more centered around the loud noise scaring off a would be attacker, thief, murderer, etc. See scummy people like this are all brave when they have the upper hand, but throw just one spanner in the works and, like the cockroaches they are, they scurry off and hide.

      I think enduring a quick burst of 130db is far better than being mugged or assaulted.
