We had an attempted delivery that failed… Even though we were at home. Called Sony and DHL, DHL confirmed it was just the remote as well.

Just spoke to DHL - she advised me that the TV's haven't been received as of yet and are awaiting to receive them from Sony, but the remotes were the ones sent. Interesting that she knew the complete story as she must have had us all ringing earlier.
They will be ringing us to confirm a delivery date once Sony actually send the TV's.

That's all it says into depot loaded on cage, 4 days later still says into depot. Who knows!

TV is coming to me this afternoon - DHL Booking team called last night to lock in a delivery time for the TV. I receieved the remote with their smaller courier drivers yesterday.
My tracking just says in transit *on pallet *

RE the tracking, do you peeps have Out for Delivery listed twice? Trying to work out if that is the Remote and the TV separately. "Shipment delivered" only listed once.
The additional remote comes seperate to the TV.. What state you from? That was quick.

Interesting the experience everyone is getting is varied as i understand its a requirement to get 2 people to deliver and carry the item due it's weight.
Only 1 person delivered the TV and he was having trouble carrying the TV himself. I had to help him to avoid the TV from being damaged.

The additional remote seems such an unusual inclusion. It's like they're just getting rid of excess stock.
The Included remote is Superior in that it has 2 extra dedicated App Buttons (Youtube Music and Prime Video) and otherwise they appear to be same build materials and capability.
Sony has been bundling the extra remote since before Xmas last year

They said my order is due to be dispatched on the 12/4.

Until yesterday the DHL tracking said that a package had been scanned onto a pallet, but this morning I'm getting "Sorry, your tracking attempt was not successful. Please check your tracking number". Anyone else seen this and know what's happening?

I rang DHL and the lovely lady at DHL informed me that the TV had arrived in Victoria this morning, and is putting a request to have it delivered tomorrow.
If it wasn't for the price I paid for the TV, I would be complaining pretty hard as it's been a crap show. Like they have advertised on the site that the TV would be sent the next business day - it wasn't. Sony's system was showing everything as delivered when it had just been dispatched. They've been cancelling orders etc. I'm getting vibes that the ecommerce department (as per usual in a lot of companies these days) is run by someone who had zero idea of systems and online sales.
DHL have been great (albeit a little slower than I'm used to with DHL).
I'm in SE QLD, and the online tracking used to say that projected delivery date was 8 April which obviously didn't happen.
I tried to call DHL and got a voicemail saying they were having some kind of technical issue and to call back in 2 hours.

1300 362 194 is the number I've been using with pretty good success. Rang it around 20 minutes ago and spoke to someone.
@ccsamwag: In the same area with mine only saying it's been loaded onto a pallet, but I called in yesterday and they said it's sitting in the qld warehouse already and waiting on them to call me to arrange a delivery some time this week. Feel like they could just arrange that when you call them up though.

@BattleSpunk: DHL are so crap. I got an email on Monday to say failed delivery, which was just a missed call from the delivery driver, whom I called back straight away. He said he can't find the second item that's supposed to be delivered, so they will have to rearrange. I called the hotline yesterday, and they said I have wait until they call me to arrange delivery. With Easter coming, mine won't be coming until next week at the earliest.
Same here. I had the same estimated delivery date as you. Still no tv. But the soundbar I bought that had no stock until the 26th came today. 🤷 Hope I get the tv tomorrow so I can play with it over the long weekend
Yesterday around 4.45pm I called up to ask if they'd be able to deliver the bonus remote and the tv at the same time, lady informed me they were actually both out for delivery, but since it was near the end of the day it will probably return to depot, and then she said she could only reschedule the re-delivery for wednesday, the wait continues :'(
Anyone else notice that the remote that came with the TV is better than the bonus smart remote?

@danzig440: I went through all the settings for Footy and normal Tv viewing. Took a while but I like how you can minimise the setting to the bottom corner and scroll through it so you can see the differences more clearly.

This whole thing has been a shemozzle! So many people including myself didn’t even receive the email to access the discount..the 75” was a great deal and was the only reason i was buying it as i already have 3 working Sony TVs less than a few years old..
The email thing might not be Sony's fault as I registered with one edu email and got nothing. I tried with another edu email around the same time and got it straight away. I think some schools/universities block certain emails from coming in.

DHL delivered without calling prior to arriving, even though DHL called me 2 days prior to confirm the booking day and assured me they would call me 1 hour prior to arriving. 😓
Got mine this morning, no notification or call, they just left it at my front door… lucky we heard the van and went to check it out!
What was the last update on the tracking before it was delivered?
They dispatched mine last Tuesday 12th according to the tracking, ETA was 14/04 but a week later and its still not here.
