      Lucky/Unlucky for me, I already have too many SD cards. Assuming SS sell legit ones, these Sandisk SD cards have impressive write speed.

    Are these 32Gb cards legit SanDisk? In the past I've known that Shoppingsquare only sell the real deal, but I think the ones I've bought in the past were sent locally from within Australia. These ones listed are "direct shipping"…

        I got fake cards and some bad batch from them before (2008) so don't surprise if you get fake one!

    using h2testw on my SD slot (Toshiba Laptop), what speeds should I get read/write?
    Tested a 16GB "45MB/s" Sandisk card recently and measures a little over 20. How would you actually measure this burst speed (up to 45MB/s)?

      The speed you got might be the card reader itself maxing out? I've noticed a lot of card readers max out at about 19-20MB/s

    For the same type and speed of card, but 8gb size, I got 28MB/s write and 38MB/s read, from memory (haha).

    I also got very similar speeds from my 30MB/s sandisks, so not really worth paying extra for 45MB/s I think.

    I tested in a SD slot in my new HP folio 13 ultrabook. Some SD slots connect at usb2.0 speeds and therefore will be less I think.

    However if like me you have a small ssd laptop, this card makes a nice storage boost at reasonable erad and write speeds.

      I'm going to put it to the test once I get it, and if it doesn't meet the speeds claimed I will make some noise about it for sure.

    This is bollocks. Either they're taking massive losses and their supplier is ripping them off big time, or their profit margins are huge when they decide not to discount them as heavily as they are (80%).

      Hi lostn,

      SS has been selling this model at $59.95 for weeks, they never sell at RRP price.

      Please note that i stock the goods locally, this deal is shipping from oversea (i reckon it's from HK)
      There are a couple of things to point out here,
      1. I pay GST for buying locally
      2. Cheapest shipping cost is $2.5 (Registered) + $1.2 (Stamps) where shipping from HK is much cheaper.
      3. It takes at least a few days to ship this out, who knows if the price has dropped by $1-$2
      4. Stocking fees, as my cost of this product is much higher than the current market price.

      It's $10 cheaper at SS with the voucher code…

      It takes a while to receive stuff from them though since they are in HK. Apus and SS are the same entity I think. Apus might be their ebay ID.

    Thanks! My current 16gb SDHC Class 10 kingston just isn't big enough for shooting the amount of raw shots I take with my camera ha..having this 32gb as my main should help ;) and the 16gb as a spare!

    How do you apply the coupon code?

    At the checkout there is a text field where you can enter the code, but no OK or Apply button to apply it.

    If you press enter, the site thinks you are only updating the quantity, not applying the coupon.

    EDIT: Figured it out. Clicked on Pay with Paypal, then canceled it by pressing BACK which returned me to the checkout, with updated pricing and free shipping. But when I went to pay with Paypal it didn't tell me how much I was paying. I had to hope that the correct amount was being charged and not the un-couponed price.

    You guys really need to improve the checkout system.
