At least they provide cashback on non-alcoholic beers unlike BWS/ShopBack.

That's from a CR deal, but it wouldn't be any different through SB (BWS set the terms).

    • I thought cashback at BWS covered non alcoholic beers but not things like peanuts, soft drinks, ice etc.

      • +1

That's correct. Read what TA said in the comment I linked above.

  • +2

At least the provide cashback in a reasonable time frame unlike BWS

  • Never bought alcohol online but is liquor land usually much more expensive compared to others? Just saw a6 lack of ginger beer for $30 and other places for $23-25.

    • +2

on par with BWS, and more exy than FCL & Dans.
Buy only from their specials list for maximum savings.

    • If you shop at Coles, look at your docket deals. Sometimes you can find a greater saving there vs full price with cashback.

Tbh I'd only use this cashback if there's also a Flybuys offer running at the same time.

    • +1

Pricing is usually the worst out of all of the mainstream liquor stores, although you will find the odd independent that does worse. They lean into the high-low pricing with decent specials but sting you for everything else.

  • +2

good deal but seems Liquorland is more expensive then bws and from what i read they don't price match

  • Waiting for the next bws cashback!

    • +3

See ya in 6 months if we're lucky lol

    • Hope you're not counting on it being 40% again or even 35%, at least not soon

      • +1

well, shopback will be running upsized cashbacks on weekends till the end of the month.
might be a 40% on liquorland or firstchoice coming soon again? 😆

anyway 30% is a good enough deal, need a bottle
of whisky for the weekend 😃

  • Will FREEDELFIFTY be a listed code so it doesn't disqualify our cash back?

    • Yes, it is now listed.

  • how do you find these deals early?

    • -1

Asking store reps goes a long way ;)

      • +1

Thanks for sharing. I'm on night shift and would of missed this.

    • +1

they jacked up Roku to $68 now (in SA)

  • -1

    40% is the new standard.

    • +3

Have fun waiting a very long time.

      • +1

        Me luv you long time!

  • Anyone tried the Stockade Pale Ale?

    • That's actually a good deal. Well it would be, but no stock in NSW

    • its not bad, ive been drinking a bit of their range lately and am pretty impressed. the session ale and IPA are good too

Makes this Lorry Boys Pale Ale pretty cheap! Have no idea what its like though?

    • I haven't tried it but it is a Coles group "home brand" product. The pacific ale surprisingly tasted OK!

    • +2

its terrible, cant lie and im not snobby about beer

    • The pale is not the greatest, but still better than some mainstream ales. Lorry boys pacific ale is very good for the price, and its proper 375ml cans.

  • +3

My liver says no but my wallet says yes.

  • +1

Might be time to try this Mountain Culture beer that everyone has been raving about.

Johnnie Walker Black Label Whisky 1 Litre seems like a good deal. Get two for max $30 cashback.

Works out to be $47 a bottle after cashback.

    • Was tossing up between JW black 1L ($47), double black 0.7L ($36.50) and 0.7L Black ($32.70). Ended up buying two 0.7L Black label. Came to $32.70 each. I think it's a steal.

  • Ended up buying a case of the Lorry Boys Pale Ale + a Stockade Flight Path for $93, which I think should work out to be $67.63 delivered. The Stockade alone is $74 at Dan's at the moment!

  • All the premix cases I was looking at last night, when I first saw this deal posted, have now been deleted, in substitute for the more expensive 6 packs

  • +2

Haku vodka for $35 after cashback looks good.
The next best price is $50 on BWS.

  • If you like a full bodied Chardonnay they do the Fat Bastard for 2 for $30. Which, pretty much, aligns it will First Choice.

  • Piper $50 each, get 2 for $27 cashback and check if you have Flybuys 1500pt bonus offer.

  • +2

Love these deals…but this annoys me.

This should say 27% cashback (as GST is excluded). BWS includes GST, so was legit 40%.

Good thing about LL is stackable codes & promos.

Beefeater gin $25.46 ($35 on special pre cashback). Perfectly reasonable everyday gin imho. Buy 2 for free delivery or 3 to maximise cashback.

    • Curious, as someone who hasn't gained much appreciate for gin…

What do a lot of people use gin for everyday? Is is for G&Ts, neat/rocks, or mixing?

I use to jump on the Roku deals and drink neat, which was nice, but never made me want it like a good scotch. So I've reverted to decent scotches neat and only bring out gin for mixing.

      • +2

        G&T is delicious daily

  • Whats the magical number to get $30 cash back, is it $110 ?

    • +1

yep - just paid exactly $100 and got notified of $27.27 CB

  • How does delivery usually take? I should probably just go the click n collect

  • +1

Thanks, got a couple of unnecessary bottles of booze :D

    • +1

      they are necessary

  • I'm very tempted to try Japanese whisky, any recommendations please?

    • +2

      Of the LL stock?

      Probably the Chita.

      Otherwise, none of them.

  • Carlton Dry Bottle 330mL Pack (24) 1 $48.00
    Tooheys New Bottle 375mL Pack (24) 1 $49.00

    Subtotal $97.00
    Delivery cost FREE
    TOTAL (incl. GST) $97.00

Approx $70 total after cashback, delivered to the front door. Thanks OP & cashrewards. Great price for quality beer.

Time to claim your free bundy ginger … essentially get paid to drink!

  • St. Hugo Shiraz for $27.63 looks a good price to me

  • how long does it take for CR to track the deal? I can see it in my click history but hasn't tracked my purchase yet?

    • Me either, just click history, but nothing more than that. :(

    • Same here - ordered at 11:26am, it's in My Click History but no email notification that CR has been tracked.. Will be really annoyed if it doesn't get tracked…

      • Yep, I don't have a "claim" button either yet. Annoying.

        • Finally my transaction was tracked today.. Happy days!

    • Ordered this afternoon, picked up order, already, and money is “pending” in my account. Mind you, it is telling the release date will be 15/7.

    • update 3:18pm tracked :D

  • 12:26 placed Liquorland order, reviewed email confirmation from LL.
12:38 email from cash rewards confirming $27.55 cashback tracked from my $101 spend.
12:47 received email from PayPal reciept for payment to LL.

I know from past experience, LL confirms the cashback around 30 days, unlike 120 from BWS

    • Based on my last two CR / Liquorland deals, you should expect your delivery to be shipped from Perth and fulfilled by around 1.30pm, 28th August!
