Pretty decent controller for emulation and Xcloud, but be aware that the DPAD kinda sucks. It's super mushy and unclear. Heard it's not too difficult to but haven't tried it yet myself.

      DPAD kinda sucks

Lol owned a Razer USB gamepad like a decade ago with a dreadful DPAD. Good to know they've gone literally nowhere on that in the last 10 years.

Although in fairness, I don't think I've ever owned a third party gamepad without a woeful DPAD. It's a hidden art known only to companies that actually make consoles, apparently.

  • These are usually one on sale for $79 on any given day. Good price tho

  • +3

    Order total: AU $54.00

    I can live with that.

    Thanks, OP!

    • +1

How did you get it at that price? Says 64$ in title.

      • +2

I had that extra $10 off, for some reason, it applies automatically

      • +1

That's from the seller 10 off 50 spend.

    • +2

same here got extra $10 off at checkout for $54

    • +2

Yep, Got one for $54 as well. Ebay have an additional $10 off over $50 on certain items.

    • Would you mind sharing a receipt by PM - that'd be ace to price match

  • +6

Definitely a good price, I'd suggest make sure you are going to use it often. Don't buy it just because it's a good price. End up collecting dust is not ozbargainers do.

    • +8

You think ozbargainer don't buy now and think later? This is the way.

      • +8

I did practice "buy now and think later" for years, and now look at all the "bargains" collecting dust, I no long act like that.

      • Have you ever removed your helmet?

    • I have one that sits in a cupboard. I got it cheap to play emulation games on my iPhone then realised you can’t really do that 😆

That’s what happens if you buy first, research later

    • +1

You're getting OzBargain confused with OzFrugal. These guys and gals would pick up a seized Russian yacht if it was 50% off and free shipping.

  • +1

EXTRA AU $10 OFF AU $50+

    This is an eligible item.

    Makes the deal even juicier

    • They just pulled this offer

  • Showing as $129 for me, am I doing something wrong?

    • Code

      • Not accepting the code. It says 'Looks like that's the wrong code'

  • +1

    OOS now

  • +4

Just brought one for $54. appears there is more stock

  • Nice device but I only ended up using mine a handful of times and it's just sitting in its box these days storing dust

  • I just paid $64 - I didn't get the extra $10 discount

  • +1

    Good price

    SUPPORTED PHONE DIMENSIONS
    Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+, S9, S9+, S10, S10+, S20, S20+, S21, S21+, S21 Ultra
Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Note 9, Note 10, Note 10+
    Google Pixel 2, 2 XL, 3, 3XL, 4, 4XL
Razer Phone 1 & 2 (requires inserts available from customer support)
    Other devices within supported dimensions (145.3 – 163.7 mm x 68.2 - 78.1 mm x 7.0 - 8.8 mm)

Check if your mobile fits before pulling the trigger ;)

    • +4

A true Ozbargainer will pull the trigger first then check size afterwards ;-)

      • +4

and then get the new phone that fit the controller !

        • +1

You my friend are as "true" as they get

    • +2

      Left or right trigger?

    • If it fits the Pixel XL phones then surely it would fit the 5 and 6?

      • not sure, I have checked mine as I have a Poco F3 which is not being listed. Coincidentally, it's EXACTLY 163.7mm in height, I don't know if it fits well with a thin case :/

      • I hope so!
It lists the S21 Ultra, which is bigger than the given specific supported dimensions anyway and also bigger than a Pixel 6 Pro.

        • people say you just need to take out the left rubber pad to use it on the pixel 6's.

  • Not sure why but the extra $10 off doesn't work on my order :(

    • I ordered a different item from Razer so now disappears, if you've taken advantage of that deal it won't appear anymore.

      • Nah, they pulled the $10 off for this item after a while, no one could get it anymore.

    • +1

Me neither.. I've never bought anything from Razer

  • +3

FYI if your phone is just a bit too big for this then you can remove the rubber inserts in it and it'll likely fit (ie a Poco X3).

  • Is the $10 off $50 appearing for anyone, can anyone link to that Razer_au store offer here ?

    • It has been pulled

  • Question
Is it going to be a solid controller if I am only interested in emulators and Android games i.e. Dead Cells, Apple Knight, etc?

    Thanks in advance :)

    EDIT
I don't play shooting games or MOBA at all.

  • Dammit, OOS at checkout.. >.<

*Edit: Fcuk, they're all atleast double price elsewhere..

      Back in stock!

      • Grabbed one, thank you! 😁

  • Was checking out whether to get this or the Gamesir x2 USB version. This one's a lot cheaper at these prices, but now sold out. Oh well.

    • Gamesir is better if you have a fold device. I have the xbox version and can't use it on my fold

      • I've read the gamesir is better cause you can still use it with a case, but I have yet to see it go on sale for a good price.

          • +1

@maverickjohn: Nah the bluetooth has latency issues apparently. The USB version is better.

            • @Munki: As someone who owns the bluetooth one I haven't noticed any latency issues at all.

USB-C will for sure be instantaneous, but I've never noticed any lag on the bluetooth model.

              • @mangobango: Think the ability to charge with the USB version sells it for me. But thanks for the suggestion.

                • @Munki: Yeah that's true, I wanted to get the USB-C for that feature too but realised I plug my phone in enough to charge it normally, didn't want to put unnecessary wear and tear on the port.

In saying that though if you're not playing it too often or anything then that'd be pretty negligible!

  • +1

In stock, just ordered for $64 using gift cards :)

  • +1

OP, the deal is back now.

  • +1

I think they were just removed the extra $10 off promo. Current $64 is still not bad if you need one. Well, I didn't take the bite of $54 before using gift card. Cos I don't need it. I am not that "buy now think later" boy anymore.

  • code not accepted "Looks like that's the wrong code. Please double-check and try again"

    PAPP15 works but it's $20.85 off

    • +1

      Do you have Plus?

      • ohhh.. no i don't. i didn't know that is a pre-requisite. Thanks. I'll give up now and keep using my xbox controller

        • +1

          Or… make a new account.

  • can I get some idea what games are compatible?
I had a friend who had this but said it wasn't compatible with pokemon Unite?
would it work with Genshin Impact?
    any other examples appreciated

    • genshin still has no android controller support after so many years….

      • For this, I really can't figure out what's the (profanity) wrong with adding controller support for the android ecosystem :/ It's not difficult for the developers to do so technically speaking, but they just don't.

        • so, exactly what games are you guys buying this to play?

          • @chronophysicist: I think the answers would be very personal and subjective. I am a big fan of platform games. I have tried Dead cells on mobile with BT controller, and that worked quite well. Basically, I play games like shovel knight, castlevania, celeste, megaman, hollow knight, spelunky etc. There is a game available for the android system that's very similar to dark souls / demon's souls called 'Pascal's Wager' and it has built-in support for HID.

            • @DBW: so these are like standalone games, not via emulators?

              • @chronophysicist: Yes, there are many out there. You can google it like "android games with controller support"

  • I've had this controller since xmas and using a s21 ultra, had to 3d print adapters as the camera bump is in the way. I've happy with it and even brought this as a spare 🙂. I have been playing dying light 2 on nvidia game steam and works great.

  • Is anyone able to share a receipt at $54 - I've got one still in price match claim period.

  • For it for samsung Note20 ultra. Unfortunately PSplay doesn't support and PS remote app stutters and freezes despite hard wired ps5 and sitting ins my wifi access point. I think they're is something going on with samsung game throttling.

    • You also seem to have 'something going on' with your keyboard!

  • Bought this 6 months ago but found it a bit uncomfortable to use for any significant length of time. Ended up buying a PowerA Moga XP5-S Plus. Traditional Xbox style controller with a clip on phone mount. Kept the Kishi for mobile/travel use, outside the home. Both good units.

Watch ETA Prime's reviews on both units of you want to compare features.

  • what games do people play on the ultra?

  • Garbage. Better than Ipega? Yes. Still terrible? Yes.

Buttons are mushy, triggers are scratchy, dpad doesn't register correctly at times, super floppy no matter what phone you have, and just flimsy product all around.

  • Awesome, always wanted it.
