    What are you differences between a GTS and GTR? I know for Nissan Skyline models there is a huge difference but is it the same for these watches?

        I had a chance to get a R32 pretty much stock and a Supra JZA80 twin turbo 100% stock for $20k each but I was stupid enough to decline the offers. Those days are long gone.

    the shape of display is different. S for square (rectangle) and R for round. no difference in function at all.

      How can you be sure? I am aware of the posting rules here and would declare any association if I was getting anything out of this. Being Amazfit fan myself, I like to keep an eye on deals and reach out to the store rep to ask for any deals to post here.

        Can't deny it looks a little suspicious, especially from your wording, given you post a fair amount of Amazon deals with unique codes you seem to 'come across' or are 'obtaining directly from reps'. Its a bit unusual for someone to be reaching out to a bunch of Amazon reps with the express purpose to get unaffiliated codes to post on OZB. Thats something an affiliate would do.

            @batrarobin: Yeah, I did, what's even more suspicious is that, why would the store rep hike the price and offer you a discount code? A store rep who is genuinely trying to offer a good deal wouldn't do that and that too to offer an actual discount of $4.5 ! Mate, come up with a better story next time :)

    I have Amazfit 5 (as cheaper than this) but MiBand 6 is now more convenient (battery not as long as MiBand 4).
    MiBand 7 is around the corner.
    I don't know why there was no Amazfit 6 or now 7.

        The Mi Band definitely looks better with the bigger display though. It really is a shame that the Amazfit didn't get an upgrade yet.

    Just checked the Amazfit website and found this:

    Typical usage scenario: 14 days
    Heart rate always on, sleep monitoring; 150 pushed notifications lighting-up the screen, lift the wrist to see the time 30 times, and 5 minutes for other operations every day; exercise 3 times a week for 30 minutes with the GPS on.
    Basic watch mode: 46 days
    Turn off the Bluetooth connection, heart rate and other functions, and lift the wrist to see the time 100 times a day.

    Anyone had these before? I'll go for it if it really does get up to 46 days of battery life.

    OP , you are an Amazfit fan, can you answer this please?
    My wife has an Amazfit BIP, still works great, battery life still around a month.
    Is this one you listed a new replacement or is there a GTS 2 out now. Can you tell me the diff between them?
    Does these newer ones have an always on display like the BIP has? (New ones screen looks bigger at least)

      Hi mate, sure.

      GTS is heaps better than BIP in my opinion. The screen on GTS is AMOLED vs LCD and with higher resolution so the display looks quite rich. As you would know the actual LCD on the BIP that illuminates is about 2/3rd of the display but that isn't the case with GTS that offers bigger display.

      GTS also has a bigger battery but it may not get as many days as BIP because of its rich display, more sensors, more sports modes etc. and yes GTS has Always On option. Hope this helps.

        Thanks. The GTS is old now is it .. theres gts2 and 3 out? Is it still worth buying?(it is cheap)
        Honestly my wife just likes the step counter, heart rate, sleep, and notifications (messenger/text/calls etc). Doesn’t use any sports type modes (running rowing whatever).
        Is it a metal case (BIP is plastic)?

          If features aren't too much of a requirement then I would consider between GTS and GTS 2. GTS provides all the basic sports modes but has a plasticky build while GTS 2 has a nicer aluminium case.

      Sorry I have been advised that Amazfit Official doesn't have GTS2 or GTR2 listed on Amazon AU. There is only GTS2 Mini available on Amazon which I posted in my previous deal.

      For GTS2 or GTR2 you have to order from other sellers on Amazon.
