    That's the whole point it's called a scam. Make you think you're getting a cheap gpu and overcharge the difference on the other parts.

  Looking to upgrade PC on the cheap. Have a 1080ti, and want to swap out CPU, MOBO and RAM. Currently CPU is i7-7700k, Asus z270h MOBO which I suspect isn't too crash hot these days

    Its ok but not amazingly great.

    I got the 5600x for $288 so you are looking at $310 for the mainboard which is an okish price.

    Kinda same here, I need a cpu/mobo combo coz I am keeping my good old 1070.

    Had a look at the price for Gigabyte X570S AORUS ELITE AX AMD AM4 RGB.

    The current lowest price of this board is from Amazon for $292.5, which means 5600x price is 599-292.5 = $306.5, not the best price for 5600x I would say.

    Because. Maybe. Just maybe. They wanna sell stock they had to purchase when they sell the GPU.

    So discount the GPU and make it up with the stock you were forced to purchase.

    Its been happening for 1.5 years now.
