The skin only is a different model and it’s brushless. Not sure about the one in this kit but no mention of brushless.

I've had the brushless version for a couple of years. Actually bought a second one when they were heavily discounted at one stage. A great unit but it does have a couple of issues. The first, and most significant, is the bags failing near the vacuum outlet. I've had several bags fail (hole) - all in the same location. This results in air and vacuumed material that's been mulched being blown out the hole. They cost ~$25 to replace and I'm finding it difficult at times to actually find in stock. Just looked for it now and can't find the bags listed on Bunnings website. The second issue is they have a plastic impeller which wears over time. I didn't notice it that much until I started using my second one and the suction was noticeably better.
Still a great unit but not without issues.I noticed the same thing. You'll want to be careful what you are sucking up to extend the life of that impeller. I considered getting a metal one printed (should be cheaper than a new unit at any rate.
The bags are a bit of a pain to empty I find, but certainly easier than completely dismantling it to swap from blower to vac on the 3 in 1 (that would annoy the hell out of me, I normally blow everything into a pile and then vacuum mulch it).
Incredible value for the ozito stuff.. a corded version is only $54. bag problem is common enough people with these have made 'hacks' to reinforce bag with other materials incl. duct tape. see reviews referring to the mods in link

Not true. I have purchased ozito gear on powerpass and returned it for replacement.

I've never had an issue with PowerPass ozito returns. I hear this line all the time, not sure who started the rumour.
Sometimes they try this, but just tell them that you would buy a professional brand if you wanted to use it for commercial. Usually works.
I think the warranty is still there but for lesser duration (one or two years, can't remember) vs five years.
If you buy using Powerpass it doesn’t automatically mean you are using for commercial use. You can purchase any products and use for DIY purposes. I’ve dropped my 18v mouse sander that many times and used on commercial sites and yet to kill it. Surprisingly more robust than people give them credit for.

Yes. 5.2 ah was 99 now 109. Also on tools. The 179 rotary hammer drill is now 199.
Same with Ryobi. They upped their prices late last year. Everything is getting more expensive.
Probably due to the increasing price of Lithium, EV's will no doubt continue that trend.

Problem with EVs is they don't let you plug appliances in. I see in pictures of Ford F-150 Lightning they will have power to run tools.

I have the jet blower, variable speed and boost button for max air. Works very well.
I use this as a blower only. I get about 25min in Turbo mode. Considering the batteries & charger kit alone are $99, for $80 for me, it was a good buy and addition to my kit.

local had these on a trolley, I was excited thinking they were clearance. Went back 2 days later to return something and still no tags so it was just a restock :-(
Thoughts on this as an outdoor vac to just clean the alfresco? I have a dog, so mostly dog hair and sand.
The dog hair clogs the normal vacuum hose too much when it gets caught up with some dust, sticks and other junk

Whats the difference between corded 3 in 1 vs this one .
Apart from fact that this one has separate blower and vacuum.
Need one for bamboo leaves and olive leaves. Any good? Should I go corded for more suction? Thinking to get those wet and dry too so I can vacuum car too? TIA.
