      Queue now, spend later!

    • +1

      need to register now though

  • Good deal

  • Just need to find something to buy

  • +3

Does it give you this bonus on 0% cashback categories as well? Amazon and Ebay? Thanks

    • Have that in mind!

    • +2

      It never does.

If only Shopback and Cashrewards would pay 0.01% instead of 0% on all categories. I really don't see why they can't. It just allows us to use the promo credit for what we want (with a capped number of participants, the promo itself doesn't cost them any more).

      It's. So. Frustrating.

  • +1

Looks targetted? My sister didn't get offer but I got it no issue.

    • does your sister have atleast one confirmed cashback transaction? (excluding gift cards)

      • +1

Sister has $200+ in cashback already. She went ham after a referral a couple most ago. 🙃

        • lmao ok. my sister didnt get the offer too so I wanted to know if no purchases were the reason :')

          • @kazer: It is” targetted” as someone pointed out in the T&C.

    • +2

Looks like possible, didn't realise until you pointed it out 🤔 and I went to check again and saw this…..

      T&Cs:
"Available while opt-ins last and to selected customers only."

      • Keen eyes at 12:27 am

  • Is the 2000 slots counted now (by just starting the challenge) or by the actual spending (e.g. midnight/wee morning of 16th)?

    • +2

Now, more than 1/4 of the slots have been taken

  • +2

    Definetly targeted

    • +2

      From the OP

Available while opt-ins last and to selected customers only.

  • Can you use gift cards and credit voucher?

  • didn't get the challenge :(

edit: showing on desktop but not the app.

  • Sweeet!! Just as I was about to buy a new beard kit from Amazon….now I'll wait.

  • The bonus will be added to your account once the regular cashback associated with your qualifying transaction is confirmed.

Looks like 0% cashback items from Amazon is ineligible?

    • +2

Looks like that but would be good if GYB can confirm.

    • Yep :)

      • +3

Can I make a friendly suggestion? Please state this EXPLICITLY in your T&Cs. It will benefit you in the long-run, especially on a forum like this one.

      • Yup it is eligible?

        • +1

Sorry, I should've been more specific (busy morning).
Yes it is eligible for the bonus :)

  • Yesss awesome deal

  • +1

"Only purchases made after you 'Start' this challenge will qualify for the bonus cashback."
Remember that we only queued at this point.
Or is queueing now the same as starting..

    • +3

we’re queuing because the challenge hasn’t started. but if you clicked the queue button then you’ve made it as first 2000 and will be able to do the challenge in 2 days, and you have 2 days follow that to complete the challenge

      • +1

        You smelled dollars!

  • +6

    More than half slots gone.
People who are asleep now, will start their day on a very bad note tomorrow 😂😂

  • +4

Looks like my unhealthy habit of checking the ShopBack app for bonuses/upsized cashbacks multiple times a day has finally paid off.

    • +2

May I recommend you a better lifestyle: visit OZBargain once every 15 minutes :D

  • Thanks OP!

  • +2

@GotYourBack can you please confirm the start time?

The app has two different start times.
    1. 15th April 10pm (I thought it might show 10pm because I'm in WA but actually mean 12am AEST, however I've never seen localised time in the app before?)
    2. 16th April 12am AEST

Need to know due to promo stacking :)

    • It shows 11:30pm for me and I’m in SA, so looks like it is accounting for our time zones.

      • Oh right. So, no overlap :(

        Thanks!

  • +1

Appear that I have got a starting slot

  • +1

Can I combine this with another challenge? I have $10 eBay challenge so buying a $14 item in an eligible category can return me $24 as cashback

    • think so

  • +1

Title wrong? Starts for me 15.04. 11.30pm

    • Starts at 12.00am AEST

  • Everything on Aliexpress ?

  • +1

Guess that'll cover the ridiculous fees from UberEats for dinner that night.

  • will i get a second chance i didn’t realise i had to queue?

    • +1

Unlikely unless ShopBack decides to give out another $28,000..

  • +1

Allocation Exhausted - 2000/2000 slots have been fulfilled

Should have expired this at time of adding this to the deal description and amending the title

  • Damm missed this one out right

  • +5

Missed because it was marked as "in 2 days"

  • Missed because i have a day job

  • +1

Damn, I gotta start randomly staying up past midnight I guess 🥴

  • Missed because I went to bed at 10pm.

    EC > definitely targeted

    Whew

  • +1

thanks body clock for waking me up early, managed to get in

  • God damn it, the one night I have a decent sleep schedule 😂

  • Which other store people are planning to use this if no bonus for ebay and Amazon?

  • +8

I hate it when they start these deals at 12am

  • didnt see this until too late

  • +1

missed it because I was on the way to pick up my krispy kreme donuts

  • If you don't see this in your challenges even after all the slots have been filled, that means you're not targeted right?

  • The late bird gets the worm.

  • Hi OP, hoping to use this for eBay purchase. Will using eBay promo codes invalidate the cashback? I cannot see anything in the T&C's about this?

    • +2

If I remember correctly when SB had similar promo for Ebay, someone asked a similar question and the response from gyb was that it will void the cashback for ebay but it will have no effect for the challenge. So essential it will tracked at 0% but the challenge will still be approved if you spent the required amount.

      Edit: Here

  • Spoke with live chat to try and confirm if 0% cashback categories were eligible and it doesn't seem like it. 'If the cashback tracked at $0, you will not be eligible for the bonus'

    • @gotyourback but works with eBay right?

      • +2

It works with eBay & Amazon :)

        • Oh great, thanks for confirming! I assume an eBay or Amazon coupon wouldn't invalidate this either? @gotyourback

          • +3

@camsmith12: Correct, as long as the coupon doesn't take the cart value below $14 as it's the required min. spend.

        • What about using eBay codes and paying with gift cards?

          • +2

@billy_bob: Gift Cards are treated as cash at eBay, so always yes.
With codes, refer to the answer above :)

            • +2

@gotyourback: @gotyourback It would be great if you include eligibility with 0% categories, use of coupon codes, use of gift card in the Description of all your offers in future. This will save your and everyone's time.

              • @amsaini15: Thanks for the suggestion, I'll have a chat with the team about this :)

                • @gotyourback: @gotyourback After activating offer, I made purchase on Agoda and then eBay. What happens if I can cancel Agoda hotel booking after 2 months? Will I still get $14 bonus because of ebay purchase?

I intended to take bonus for ebay purchase but just made this Agoda free cancellation for travel 6 months later. How do I connect challenge with ebay purchase?

        • Are 0% cashback categories in Amazon eligible?

  • Challenges has moved to Monthly challenges on the homepage after activation last night . What do buy now.

  • So codes, vouchers, discount coupon or store credit is all fine as long as it doesnt falls below $14?

    • Seems like the TD:LR

      • Am I missing something, I thought it was TL:DR?

        • Early start to the weekend does that to you.

  • +1

Does postage cost in eBay get included in the $14 minimum?
I want to buy something that is $9 with $7 postage.

    • +2

message the seller to combine postage to the price.

  • is it normal to see $12.72 in the app with 2 days to end?

    • +1

Yes, as $12.72 is the GST exclusive price of $14.00.

      • So do we need to spend $14 post-GST?
        Edit: no

    • +2

That would be the amount excluding GST (which cashback is always calculated on).

$14 in the shopping basket is your target.

  • +1

Grabbed sometimes on eBay after challenge started last night, hasn't tracked yet so challenge hasn't completed either.
    Feeling nervous

  • @gotyourback there's a problem with my mum's challenge, i pm'd you about it.

leaving a message here just in case you've missed it. 😅
