Last time I saw these razer speakers for around this price was for around $159 in June last year. If you need a pair $164 is still a decent price. Don't forget to use the code upon checkout.

Would much rather recommend the logitech G560 which is 249$ or $236 with 5% coupon @ ebgames ebay. Yes its about 90$ more expensive but will bring you far better sounds as far as gaming speakers go, and much cheaper than the $800 nommo pro.

In case you are worried this wouldnt sync with your other razer products, just use SignalRGB, can basically replace razer synapse and easier to use as well. And follow this guide to get the most out of your G560.

Why not just get studio monitors or bookshelf speakers? A pair of Edifier R1380Ts would sound soooo much better.

    • +4

      The answer is always RGB.

    • +3

Well the Edifiers are huge. Not everyone has the desk space or want the desk space used by a big pair of speakers.

      • -3

They're not really that much bigger than the Nommos. That seemingly empty space in the Nommos is pretty much unusable with how chunky the driver section is.

        • +1

Way smaller physical footprint. Nommo: 139 x 170 x 220 mm vs Edifier R1380T: 200×152×241mm. If you have a small desk every mm counts. Not to mention the Nommo arguably look better than Edifiers. Consumers have choice. No need to gatekeep just because they don't suit your preferences or needs. :)

      • T40's then.
Nothing Ive demo'd (and its a lot) comes close at this price point.

because brand recognition in the gamer market

  • Noooo.
At that price, you're in T40 territory.

    • Isn't T100 better ?

      • More powerful, but I find the sound signature less balanced.

        Also, larger footprint.

I was trying to go like-for-like products :)
I wouldnt say no to them, but I prefer the strong low-mids of the T40. YMMV of course.

  • Still loving the beige ADA305.

  • Never buy gaming branded audio gear. I know it's common sense at this point but with some people I've met you can never be too safe.
