    That's excellent. I paid $1,345.55 down from $1,583.00 in November last year.

    I use mine for WFH and gaming. Text isn't perfect but I got used to it.

      Curious about what you mean the text isn't perfect - not sharp enough/blurry? Flickery? I would have thought this monitor at its native resolution would look pretty good

        Wonder if it’s 422 or 420 subsampling when running 4K 144hz, rather than 444… would mean blurry text.

          Pretty sure the cause would be the sub-pixel layout, it's not RGB, it's BGR which makes small text look very slightly off - you wouldn't notice playing games, watching movies etc and you do get use to it after time. I didn't even realise the Samsung TVs I've been using as computer monitors use BGR layout until I was searching to upgrade my Q8C

            @rtsanarchist: I think Windows 7 used to have a ClearType tuner which would help adjust for that.. not sure if that’s still around?

              @NoDowt: @NoDowt thanks for that, I'm sure that'll be helpful to anyone who has this problem on any BGR displays.
              I haven't seen the problem for quite a while now, possible Win 10/11 might have had updates to take this into account.

    Bought this monitor from Amazon but DOA. Difficult to return due to its size as Australia Post refuses to accept bulky items.
    Bought FO48U as a replacement but it has a software bug issue with the error message "Please turn off the power for panel protection and do not unplug the monitor."
    This message pop up regularly and even when the monitor/PC was just booted. Inconvenience when playing games with this message pop up on screen and no way to turn off this message.
    A similar report from other owners but there is no solution to this. Gigabyte has yet to reply to my technical support request which has been more than 2 weeks and may need to return for service.
    Strongly recommend staying away from Gigabyte monitors due to my above experience.

      i concur, while i love the monitor i too have this bug, it pops up randomly and you either have to use the toggle switch on the monitor or the remote to get rid of it,
      its comming up all the time even after bios upgrade, and its disrupting my enjoyment of the monitor to the point where i might return it

      Good to know, thanks. I have only had good experiences with Gigabyte but I've never used one of their monitors. Used to be great for motherboards etc. Have they been flogged off to become a low-cost Chinese brand like other formerly good companies like Blaupunkt and Akai? (Assuming they're not already Chinese/Taiwanese!)

      That's a different model. It's OLED, this is QLED.
      Mine was delivered yesterday. So far, it's working fine.

      It could only do 4k @60hz at first. But after a firmware upgrade, it could do 4k @24hz mode too which got my laptop working because it couldn't do 4k at 60hz. Maybe try a firmware upgrade to see if it fixes anything.

      Just got it, I convinced my self it was going to be okay and very bright with beautiful colours, I thought 43` isn't too big on a normal desk.

      Wrong, wrong and wrong again. Stay away if you care about the screen quality at all.

      VA panels are just not usable, unless you use them as a TV, even then not great but hey cheapest at larger sizes.

      Colours are average, definitely not bright in HDR1000 mode and worst of all, unless you are like 1.5- 2m away colour shift is so bad, especially with black you can't even focus on what's on the screen.

      Just don't waste money

        So 43inch too big are you doing any scaling or should i say avoiding scaling, I thought moving from 27inch to 32inch would help with smaller font and trying to avoid scaling but know even 32inch still have to scale lol

        27inch currently now my bedroom 4k TV if that's sold certainly want to try bigger 4k monitor then 32incher

        The AORUS thingy suxs me in lolz
