      Anecdotally:

      MSI GPUs have a reputation for being hot and loud and MSI motherboards cool and reliable.

      Gigabyte GPUs also have a reputation for being cheap & cheerful, and their motherboards often have serious flaws.

      IMO wait for an ASUS, EVGA, Powercolor.

        Agree completely. Honestly, if I had time to wait, I'd wait for EVGA GPU. They seems to be the good guys of hardware atm.

      I've heard bad things about MSI Ventus Cards, bad heat dissipation.But that varys card to card.

      MSI Ventus 3x is B tier with cooling, Gigabyte Gaming OC (I've got one) is A tier. I haven't had any issues with mine and I think the cooling it quite decent on the Gaming OC.

        For the record had a Gigabyte RTX 2080 Ti Gaming OC, terrible temps & thought it was something with that particular card. Got another one of the same model and temps on slightly better, but still bad compared to what others had with other 2080 Ti brands.

        On the contrary, had a Giga RTX 2070 Super Gaming OC and temps were fantastic.

        Go figure

        Depends on the price you can get. I think it’s been $699 recently so if can find a 3060 Ti around that price it would be better value than the 3070

    Is ventus really better than galax? Retailers are offloading all the shit models because they'll be harder to sell later.
