Keychron Q1 Barebone Keyboard $189 Delivered @ Ezpc-Tech eBay

140
SAVEMAY

Hey all, thought this deal was quite decent given that it was $189 + Delivery back in December so this has free shipping.

All 3 colours are available and with a few easy mods that'll take 10 minutes with only masking tape (i.e. Force break mod and tape), it's a great value board for the money.

The mwave deal the other day with included switches and keycaps was better. Seems like everyone is clearing stock for v2

Not V2 but there are other variations like Q2, Q3, Q4

Keep in mind this isn't the knob version.

The only place that sells the knob version right now is Keychron and it's out of stock and $259 + shipping. But hopefully more retailers stock it soon!

Yeah definitely. Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone got confused. Loving that GMMK Pro, Keychron Q1 (Keychron in general actually) are getting more people interested in mechanical keyboards.

For the knob, I'd prefer an Epomaker TH80 (USB-C + BT, south-facing LEDs, hotswap, knob). Pricing was about $80 for the kit and $130 for built with PBT keycaps and Gateron pro yellows (you can get brown or blue too if you want). Only downside is that the casing is plastic and it uses plate-mounted stabs. There is a version with a brass mounting plate for better thocc, but that is more expensive (same KB, but with a different brand, Keydous NJ80).

        • Interesting, props would've done this if I knew abt this earlier.

Got the mwave and ordered a rotary switch

    • What does the knob do?

      • Default would be Volume +/- and press to mute/un-mute.
