Seems like a reasonable deal when you include the headset and webcam. You're also not having to build this yourself or source the components.

Below is a combination of pcpartpicker and BPC pricing.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 3.4 GHz 16-Core Processor ($798.00 @ Amazon Australia)
CPU Cooler: Corsair iCUE H100i ELITE CAPELLIX 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($206.00 @ Amazon Australia)
Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard ($219.00 @ PCCaseGear)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory ($204.00 @ Skycomp Technology)
Storage: Corsair MP600 CORE 2 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($269.00 @ BPC Technology)
Video Card: ASUS TUF Gaming Radeon RX 6900 XT TOP Edition 16GB GDDR6 Video Card ($1599.00 @ BPC Technology)
Case: Asus TUF Gaming GT501 ATX Mid Tower Case ($219.00 @ Scorptec)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 P+, 80+ Platinum 1300W, Fully Modular, 10 Year Warranty, Includes Power ON Self Tester Power Supply ($299.00 @ BPC Technology)
Wireless Network Adapter: INTEL DUAL BAND WIRELESS-AX WIFI 6 DESKTOP KIT BT M.2 E 2230 ($35 @ BPC Technology)
Headphones: Sennheiser Game One Gaming Headset -506080 ($149 @ BPC Technology)
Webcam: Razer Kiyo X Webcam ($59.00 @ BPC Technology)
Total: $4,056

The ASUS TUF Gaming Radeon RX 6900 XT TOP Edition 16GB GDDR6 Video Card is $1599 via BPC. But you could potentially pay $1399 or so for a different 6900XT. Which would take the setup to $3,856

This list has a similar priced PSU and excludes the Headset, Webcam and Wifi card.

  • nice price, even better than DIY

  • These feels like a real true top tier pc.
    Much better than techfast builds

    • +8

is techfast anywhere near $3699 ?

      • +4

You don't just look at one aspect of the pc build. I feel everyone just looks at the gpu and think it's top tier.
This has a better cpu, better and bigger ssd, better psu. The ment you start doing any positive changes to the yechfast build it will be as pricy as this. And probably still. Won't be as good

        • -1

So then this build is overkill for gaming. 5950X could be swapped out for 5600X and take what, $250-$350 off the price.
Seems like and apples/oranges tbh and just fabricating an opportunity to bash Techfast.

    • +2

It depends what you're using it for, but the ~$2k 3080 Techfast builds are going to deliver more FPS at 4k gaming. However, your epeen will "feel" nowhere near as big.

      • +2

The problem with techfast is everything around the 3080 just sucks

        • +2

With Techfast you'd want to replace the storage, cooler and maybe the PSU, but that's a $300/500 upgrade. Add in another $100 to go to 32GB of RAM. Still not getting anywhere close to this price.

I also don't like the case used in this deal, airflow looks very constricted.

          FYI I didn't downvote you.

@iseeyou1312: All good. I don't mind if people down vote. It's an opinion piece and understand if some don't agree.
It always costs me a lot more than that if I decide to upgrade their builds.

Motherboard and RAM kinda sucks when matched with a Ryzen 9. X570 and 3600MHz should be minimum specs

    • +4

X570 vs B550 isn't a clear hierarchy. A lot of the budget X570 boards are hot garbage that lose out to any B550 board. I do think something like the B550 Gaming Edge would be more appropriate in a $3.7k system though.

Hmm I cannot think of the user case of this build

  • +1

Good build except I hate AIOs. Would be nice to get it with Noctua U12S or similar. Probably save 100 bucks too.

    • +1

Water cooling is highly recommended for the 5950X

      • 5950x is no more difficult to cool than a 5900x.

Builders don't include tower coolers in prebuilts because they break things during shipping.

A Noctua D15 is going to outperform this AIO, for less money, and will be more reliable and quieter.

    • Was in that camp until I got my Arctic 360 ARGB AIO. Pretty impressive.

I have seen the future - one day, all this will be obsolete.

    • Zen 4 and Lovelace are out in the next few months. I don't think obsolete is the right world, but this'll be vastly superseded by September.

  • -5

Lol, what an absolute waste of money. AMD = Absolute Money Dump

  • Another important thing between TF and BPC, who got the best build craftsmanship? Plus I also care about shipping & handling process too

    • I can't speak for BPC. But from my experience (a few years back now) TechFast had a great price. Their estimate on delivery was underdone (the estimate had the PC arriving before the release of a game I was looking forward to playing on it, release came, but PC was present). I had to follow-up with them, they were prompt at replying on here, but I paid on eBay and contact was substandard (Luke helped here). I had one other ozbargain member contacting me in PMs about how slow they were as well.

I received 2 screens (1 after the other) with issues from their Allied brand. They ended up replacing the 2 screens with an upgraded AOC, which has been good since day 1. They also said they'd collect the 2 faulty screens, this never happened. Build wise the PC had no issues and the package was sufficient.

I'd buy from them again due to price, but I'd definitely build some extra time into their estimates. . However, I haven't purchased from them in a few years, so they might be better now.

      • I haven't received my PC from TF which I bought from them on Friday evening, but I can confirm their shipping time is lightning fast, on Monday Luke replied to all my questions and said it will ship out next day or two. Then Tuesday afternoon I already received Tracking Number !!! Just checked and noticed last night my package is already at Adelaide airport in Transit, that is super fast shipping! The bet part is requested to have GPU shipped separately, and my tracking record showing 2 item numbers, this is really professional!

  • If you buy from BPC, pickup only. If you can not pick up, do not order from them.

I ordered "Samsung 980 Pro 1TB with HeatSink" from them on 17th April 2022, and order ship on 20th April 2022, and then no update at all from both BPC and Aramex, where about was my parcel been, until 5th May 2022. Emailing, and calling them no result. Now, on 5th May 2022, Aramex Tracking said, "Return to Sender", so they unable to complete the delivery, and return to BPC, but BPC still don't want to refund it to me until they receive the parcel back, even though clearly in the tracking Aramex said they return it to Sender, I'm not stealing it.

This is very bad service, very disappointed with both BPC and Aramex, and will not likely shop at BPC anymore.

    • Nah that's just Aramex. They're notorious for poor service. Opt for AusPost instead
