      Don't do it… I've been waiting for Boost to port my number for over a week. They shut down my old sim and moved the number, so now I can get incoming on Boost sim, but no outgoing or data…

    How long I. have to be away from Boost to port-in back to Boost. I am on Boost now and will port-out to Lebara for 28 days. Can I port-in just before the end of the 28 days on Lebara. Any issues i should take care when buying this Boost 200 sim.

      Why do you need to port?
      Assuming you have an existing service which is coming up to expiry just buy this and contact boost to get them to swap over to the sim you receive in the starter pack. Just tell them you accidentally bought this instead of a recharge and they’ll do the rest.

      Sharing my experience as an existing Boost customer who used the $200 SIM Starter kit to 'recharge'

      I just got on to the Boost Mobile site, "Message Us", and talked to a friendly guy who ported my number from the old Boost sim to this new Boost sim in about 10 minutes.

      Now, I had a Lebara $2 starter SIM ready to use for porting in and out, but didin't realise I would have had to pay an additional $5 to activate it (min. credit requirement).

    So I might be asking some dumb q's here, but me and my fam have been postpaid since forever, and my partner in particular seems to be getting reamed on a low value plan with Optus for $30/mnth that she sometimes goes over the data cap and thus gets pinged $10.

    Is this a much better deal for her - does it include unlimited local calls and sms? I may as well purchase it for her, port her number and she will likely go 12 months without a problem for 260GB of data, being that she NEVER will ring international??

    Is that the correct understanding for these prepaid sims??
