        I used Wondershare Recoverit and it worked great. I was able to recover nearly everything. I didn't buy it though. 🤫

          I tried to recover mine, but mine was very big, like > 20 GB. So a lot of them were overwritten, and they are damaged after recovering :( So sad.

      Be patient when using https://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk and you'll be surprised at what you can recover.

    Gave it a test run. I would have to say Recuva (made by the same folks at CCleaner) is still the better file recovery program — this app doesn't tell you how damaged the files are (like whether it has overwritten clusters) and what your chances of recovery is, nor does it you the option to search for one particular file either.

        Free and open source. It may be a little harder to use because it runs in a command line interface but there is a manual that you can refer to for help on how to use the software

        It sounds like you have have lots of bad sectors on the disk or there is MBR corruption. There are free partition manager software that you can use to rebuild / repair the MBR.

    FYI once that website get hold of your email they won't stop sending you promotional emails, I used it to get an MS office license and after that I had to categorize them as spam as everyday you receive emails from them, even after clicking on the unsubscribe several times. Use a temporary email if you plan to buy something from it.

        it should be still working, I used it and installed it. My experience is Shareware on Sale will give a single key during the promotion.
        To confirm, I tried to register with another email address, and they gave me the same key again.
