  • Is this what elon kusk used?

  • Does this have 2 X Mic ? Also does it work on Mac and Linux ?

    • Yes it has dual mic, and this works with Mac but has no support for Linux.

    As noted by @adventurer previously:

USE A CREDIT CARD THAT DOES NOT CHARGE FEES FOR OVERSEAS PURCHASES

Because this payment will be processed overseas. I paid a $1.69 surcharge to Citibank on my purchase last time, not realising it was an overseas transaction, despite being in AUD from "Creative Australia".

    • That totally sucks. Has happened to me with Nike in the past too.

      • I don't know whether a bank genuinely incurs higher costs for overseas transactions in the same currency, but to charge a customer extra for something they can't possibly know is happening….

And obviously, if a merchant claims to be Australian, they should arguably not be receiving the money overseas.

I bought this two weeks ago via Paypal and was charged $49.95 - no overseas transaction fees

      • I bought this well over a month ago, and I don't recall having Paypal as an option, or I would have used it. Unless it was very well hidden.

    • After being stung once, I'm determined to make this comment every time I see a 'bargain' from this mob.

!!! Beware, this mob process payment oversea !! International transaction fees !!!

    • Or pay via PayPal - looks like they gets around this problem.

  • Anyone bought this and have any feedback?

    • Purchased this camera on a previous deal. Works fine for a webcam for work, if your lighting is a bit dull it can, however, affect the quality. If used in a well-lit room, it works extremely well.

    • Good quality and value for money. I wish there is a manual zoom. It is a bit too wide for me. A lot of my background shows up. Blur background is not available yet on Web Teams. But for some people, maybe you are after wide ones.

    • Keeps on saying "Your camera have stopped, try reconnecting it" while on MS Teams call on a Macbook pro.

Not sure if it's the camera or Teams, but I do have the older version of this camera and it doesn't have any problems.

    • Got one from previous deal, took about 1 week to arrive.

Good quality for the money, image is very clear, and the mic is perfect for a desktop, no echoes. Low light performance, well depends on what you are comparing to, I am quite happy but may be because I haven’t used much similar products. I do use the real camera and it is better, but its not designed to be a webcam so this is just much more usable for that purpose.

My only disappointment is no windows hello support.

  • How long do they take to arrive?

    • Last time I ordered from these guys, I ordered on a Monday, received Thursday.

  • I have this. Its pretty good, much better quality than my Dell XPS laptop for work, especially if light is dim. The angle is a bit too wide though, doesn't bother me but it shows a lot more of my room than just the laptop cam.

  • have one of these, not too bad at all, MUCH better than my laptop cam.
Edit - oh and the mic in it works well too I'm told, even use it via Discord gaming sometimes (if using speakers)

  • Damn I just looked through a few pages of the webcam tag and this and the razer kiyo I think are the only good true contenders in the under $50 1080p webcam marketplace.

I don't think there is even a webcam that can do 1080p 60fps under $50 they seem to be all 1080p 30fps unless you are willing to take a punt on an off brand webcam which all have their unique shortcomings.

I honestly thought logitech had a good contender in this under $50 1080p webcam bracket but they don't it's all 720p.

    Go figure.

    • I'm not sure if any of the work meeting apps (MS teams / WebEx etc) can support 1080 at 60pfs… All my colleagues looks pretty shocking and lagging on screen no matter what webcam they use.

If one is looking to stream or make YouTube videos then they need to look something that is not a webcam I think.

  • Bought one a few months ago, not bad, definitely on par with $100 Logitech offerings. Plug and play with MS teams on windows

  • Gah dang it! I ordered less than 24hrs ago at 49.95!

  • Does anyone know which one is better?

    • The Logitech webcam is better, but that's to be expected: the two devices are in completely different price categories.

I have a Logitech C925E webcam at work and a Creative webcam for home use. The former is better than the latter; and from the reviews I've read, the Logitech C930E is a slight upgrade on the C925E. But the difference isn't huge.
