Suunto 5 GPS Sports Watch All Black $149.97 Delivered @ Costco (Membership Required)

I bought this watch in the last JB HI-Fi sale https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/648367 Very happy indeed. I replaced my TicWatch E3 and couldn't be happier. TicWatch E3 came through freebie 30 day challenge and it's lying in drawer unused.

I’ve had one of these for a while. I only use it for running and turned off the phone notifications etc… and the battery will last a week or so on a charge.
My biggest gripe is that the screen is very dark, even with the backlight on max.
My first one had a software bug after a few months and I sent it to Suunto who sent me a new replacement unit which I thought was great.

  • I know the screen seems dim on first look. But as most serious runners noted in reviews, its great when you're actually running or doing any sports activity. It functions better than most smart watches I have used. It lights up just fine when you're using it. I'd say, buy it if you're sports nut not as a gadget :-)

  • It looks good but 12 days battery life isn't considered great. Still better than an Apple watch I guess.

  • Can i still not connect this to my phone through bluetooth and still able use all features?

  • Does this measure spo2 too? Thanks
